OT - Do you watch Adrien Arpel on HSN?

OMG! Every time I flip through the channels and Signature Club A is on HSN I have to stop and watch Adrien Arpel in amazement....
and it's not because I think she is a fabulous makeup artist!

Quite IMO I think she is terrible (no disrespect to anyone who might be using her products) at applying makeup. I have never watched a makeup artist (on tv of course) apply makeup to her models the way that she does- without applicators, with her fingers and harshly (so it appears). She just really gets under my skin. I don't ever think the models look fantastic when she's finished and I feel sorry for them that they have to sit through the sessions on national television.

I like to watch Model's Prefer, SmashBox & Mojave Magic on QVC. I prefer to watch QVC anytime over HSN. Anyone agree or disagree?

Totally agree. I've always been a big QVC fan and much prefer it over HSN. Tried Adrian's cosmetics once and felt they were too heavy.

I feel compelled to watch Adrien when she's on - it's like a train wreck but thankfully I don't have HSN anymore. It always amazed me that only 2 foundation colors will work for every person - yeah they all come out looking the same color which doesn't match the rest of their body.

What bugs me is when she applies their make-up, she applies it downward. No, no, no, no, no! Gravity does enough of that. You're suppose to use upward strokes.
