We're leaving tomorrow morning for Disney. I attempted to print out our boarding passes on the airlines website. For those of you that have flown and used Disney's ME, were you able to print your boarding passes out ahead of time? I called the airline and they said that we may have been "flagged", but dh thinks that it may be because we are using ME and they will need to make sure that everything is on there properly.

I guess I better make sure we are there early tomorrow morning!

We went in January and flew Continental. Also used ME. I printed out our boarding passes and coupons for free headsets the day before-no problems. :thumbsup2

Shouldn't have anything to do with ME. The airlines never know or care that you are doing ME -- it's all on Disney's side (at least on the outbound side, on the inbound they are aware of it if you check in for your flight at your hotel). You just put the yellow tags on your luggage and when you arrive at MCO, Disney pulls the bags for you. It doesn't affect the airline check in proceedures at all. You were probably flagged for other reasons.

In answer to your question, yes I was able to check in at home for when using ME.

Last trip to MCO I printed the first 4 boarding passes at home, when I tried to print the 5th (mine) it was flagged. The next morning the skycap in Cleveland knew right away, congratulated me on my "special person" status, and walked us through the checkin. I was warned not to attempt to leave after passing through security, since "special people" get "special searches" and I would miss my flight. They weren't kidding. I was fully searched, pullled out of line, etc both in security and boarding. Embarassing, but what are you going to do?
On the plus side I got to embarrass my kids more, since most of their teammates were on our flight, and unaware of why I was getting such "special" treatment...loco mommy? :confused3 you bet after that :cheer2:

I agree with the others - it has nothing to do with ME. In fact I am sure the airlines have no idea where you are going from MCO or how you are getting there.

Someone in your party has been selected for extra screening, could be random or the result of a name that raises a red flag. Can you print anyones boarding passes? I would try printing them one at a time to see if you can get eveyone but the selected party checked in. This will help when you arrive.

Be prepared to separate and if you figure out who has been selected have someone else carry his/her carryon's if possible.

Don't worry though - it happens, so just get to the airport early, follow the instructions and get on with your great vacation.

To ease your mind it has nothing to do with DME. Someone may have been flagged in the system, you tried checking in too early, etc. Are you within the 24 hour window to check in?
