OT: Did you cry at Toy Story 3?

I cried 3 seperate times as did DD15 (this is one thing we have in common.) The first 2 times my big, strong DH would put his hand on mine and give it a squeeze. At the end, I was crying my eyes out and he even got a little choked up. It didn't help that our oldest is now calling herself a JUNIOR in HS. (I say she is not a Junior till Fall and she officially starts!)
So yeah, we all were touched by it, I don't know how you couldn't be. Like UP, please. I have seen it no less then 20 times easy and I still cry like a baby at it!

I was going to ask this same question on the Boards - I had to stare up at the ceiling to keep from bawling my eyes out. And I have no children, so I've really got no excuse. :lmao:

when they all held hands when faced by the incinerator? and when Buster came out so old and fat?

I cried like a baby!
My brother is 11 years younger than me and he LOVED TS when he was little.
Now I took DS to see it and I just cried....
Tried to get my brother to go but at 14 he thinks hes too cool to be seen at the theater watching Toy Story :confused3

I cried for minutes at a time!!! My DD12 also shed a tear, but her excuse was "I had something in eye", yeah, right tears was what you had in your eyes :rotfl:.

My DD10 and DH also got misty-eye. It was such a great movie and I :love: it!

OH MY GOD!! I cried like a baby!! When they each looked at each other as they were sliding into the incinerator, and held each other's hand when they realized they weren't going to get out!!!!! That they would be together in the end, wow. I was a total basket case, with a fidgety three year old on my lap oblivious to my emotional baggage. :lmao:

Like a baby! As did my DH and my sister and her DH - we were with our kids and my nephew is 16 and heading to college in a couple of years....

Another crybaby here... started with the incinerator scene, then when mom hugs him in his room, then when Andy finds Woody in the box and has to choose right then and there to leave his childhood behind. I could hear DD10 on the other side of DH crying as well.

Okay, now I'm misting up again...

I definitely cried especially when all the toys were holding hands in the incinerator.

We have always taken my DH to a Disney movie on Father's Day. My twin DDs are now 26 and we are still continuing the tradition. We went to TS3:3dglasses on Sunday, but we had to go to an out of town theater bc one DD is an elementary school teacher and she didn't want to run into any of her students bc she knew she was going to cry like a baby! She was bawling, and her very sympathetic sister (not) looked at her and burst out laughing. I have to admit, I was wiping away tears also. Seeing Andy's empty room set me off since I sent both girls off at the same time. Just brought it all back.:sad2:

When Buzz "flips" his wings out during the movie, I had memories of my son at 3.

"Son, stop flipping his wings out over and over while mommy is driving in traffic!"

"Just one more time, mommy?" "Okay, one more time. If you do it more than that I will take Buzz away."

I LOVED him having all those toys. My now DD4 is not as much into it.

I did so well through the whole movie.......until the end when Andy and the little girl are playing with the toys. I just could not hold back those tears.

I thought the movie was great.

My oldest son wanted to know what happened to all the toys who were missing.

im 26 and almost cried several times and am teary eyed thinking about it. so many sad moments. the seen with the incinerator almost made me lose it and the one thing at the end was when andy had woody on his shoulders playing with him with bonnie made me remember the first one when he did that and how long ago that was and how young i was.

lotso was soooo mean too, it made me mad.

I'm so glad I'm not alone, lol.

I cried at the movie trailer for TS3 and my "boys" (20 and 17 now) teased me relentlessly. Their very first room was Buzz and Woody and they were 2 and 5. Yesterday in Walmart I teared up looking at the Buzz and Woody dolls. I wish I had saved the boys' dolls. I can still hear Woody saying "There's a snake in my boot!".

OH YES, I cried! I was pregnant with DD when the first TS came out. I saw it Thanksgiving Day 1995. As I was watching TS3 (yesterday), I began to realize how fast the last 14 years (DD's current age) have flown by, which means the next 4......well......let's just say I better not blink. An empty nest is right around the corner for me. :(
