I did well until I was just outside the movie afterward. Then I looked at my 13 yr old son, was flooded by all those Buzz memories and bawled like a baby. He was mortified, lol

Oh my gosh, I did too! I was with my 12yo DS. I kept picturing my baby going off to college! My DS had a Buzz Lightyear room when he was little. He still has toys from those days that keep getting put back on shelf.

Oh yeah!! My son is going to be a senior this year, and slept with a Buzz soft toy until he was probably 12 LOL. We have the talking large buzz in the closet too. I pretty much completely lost it, it hit WAY too close to home!

And I cried! LOL. I don't know how you moms do it.
Loved TS3.

Nancy

it was so well done. My DS thought he really was Buzz the whole year he was 3, lol

plus, I got rid of Adam's Toy Story toys and now I feel so guilty, I'm tempted to buy another Buzz and Woody so he can give them to his kids.

I got very misty eyed but didn't want to embarrass my daughter in front of her friend LOL Such a good movie!!

I cried my eyes out !! It was such a beautiful ending. I thought it was the best TS of the three. (kind of disappointed in Lotso though!! for such a cutie bear he's.....well......:scared1: )

But I'll say this, everytime my DD outgrows a toy, I'm going to be VERY considerate what we do with that toy !!!! :lovestruc

So I wasn;t the only mama there holding back tears at the end.....I think the movie was calculatingly aimed not just at a new generation of kids, but at all of us parents who have growing teens -my teen is 17,and I still have his Buzz guy in my own bedroom. My kid LOVED Buzz 15 years ago,I still have the poster size photo of him pushing Buzz' arm button at WDW when he was only 2 years old......

it's times like these that even though Disney is a big corporation and I don't agree with everything they do, when they make a movie series like this that was so important to my kids' childhoods, I'm so grateful for the magic

Cried my eyes out. I miss my toys!!!!!

I tried really really hard not to because I feel stupid crying at a cartoon but I bawled during the movie "UP".

I cried as well! When all the toys were holding hands waiting for doom??? That part got to me as well, even though I was holding my 3 year old who was burying his face into me and telling him they were going to be rescued. I also cry in Toy Story 2 when Jesse has her flashback and tells Andy about her life with her owner (Emily?) and When She Loved Me by Sarah Mclaughlin is playing in the background. I think all 3 of those movies are so great!

Me too - just sent them to good will last year - want to go and buy some new ones. We had Buzz, Woody and Jessie. Oldest DS (now 11) had a huge crush on Jessie - he was glued to the screen when her song came on in TS2.

Saw it on the Wonder - people around me were bawling. - at least I had company....

I did cry. But even better so did Hubby. This man NEVER cries but I saw a tear come down his cheek. Our oldest really loved Toy Story as a small kid and I think it made him see how much he has grown up. I didn't out him to the kids - they'd give him heck. He owes me!!!!

Boy did i cry. I cried when we saw previews. My son is 20 and in the Marines. He loved Toy Story and his absolute favorite was Woody.(I still have it) We went to see TS3 on Saturday it was me, hubby, DSIL, nephew (12) and let me tell you all of us adults were to the point of sobbing when my nephew leans over and says "really, are you guys really crying?"

Great movie with lots of laughs and just the right amount of sentiment.

I cried too!! I think my husband got a little choked up too, but he won't admit it!! It was so sweet, I couldn't help it!! When Andy is playing with them with Bonnie(?) It was so happy/sad!! Definitly a great movie!!!

We weren't the only ones either, I heard sniffles coming from all around the theater!!

Yep...when the Mom walks in the room and it all becomes real for her..and the toys too. All my kids are grown and gone, but now I get to go through it all with the grandkids (8, ranging from 1-11), so, you realize the second time around how precious it is. Wonderful movie.

i cried to of course i have cried in every toy story movie so i dont know that helps but i bawled when andy went to college and when he let woody go :guilty:
