Well I'm probably going to have my second child ( a girl this time) the week of Halloween...We already have a son who just turned 2....I'm looking for a new diaper bag...one that is big enough for the Both of them and one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg...any suggestions:confused3

I don't know if this is your style, but I went to the local army/navy store and got an OD green messenger bag and then decorated it with iron ons. You could do Disney ones, I did Asian Gisha girls and such. The bag was under $30 and can fit anything and everything! You can also get it in tan.

I'm not picky at all I just want something where I can easily access anything I might need for either Nathan or Emilie....and where DBF can find it without tearing everything out of the bag:rotfl: :rotfl:

With 3 under the age of 5, I use a backpack and it's awesome. Any kind that has water bottle holders on the outside (for bottles, sippy cups, etc.) works great as a diaper bag. You can get any kind of cute backpack, not one that's sold specifically as a "diaper bag" as when it's marketed for a specific purpose, it costs more. :rotfl:

A backpack is handy as it's easy to sling over one or both shoulders and leaves hands free for grabbing wandering toddlers. :rolleyes1 Most styles have two "main" zipped pockets - I keep diapers, wipes, desitin, and a changing pad in the smaller zipped pocket and a change of clothes, snacks, disposable bibs, a few toys, small first aid kit and other necessities in the larger main pocket. The small key pocket is great for keys and a binky.

Lots of back to school specials on backpacks this weekend! :woohoo:

The Skip Hop line of bags are awesome. I have a Duo that I love, and still use if we're going to be out for an entire day or longer - it holds a TON of baby stuff (diapers and wipes for the little guy, sippy, snacks, a couple little toys), and there's still room for a camera and my wallet, cell, and girl stuff (can't go anywhere without lip balm, lol).

The Skip Hops are pretty reasonable, and I also think Target is carrying a line made specially for them, which are even cheaper.

I love Mia Bossi bags but they are insanely expensive (like $300-$1200 range.. uhhh no) so currently I use a backpack LOL. I have a 5 yr old, 3 yr old, 2 yr old, and 6 month old. Works great!

I have the Skip Hop Duo and a Skip Hop that is a lot smaller. I love the bags but the Duo is just too big and kind of a strange shape for everyday use.

One backpack I use is a Jansport one with all sorts of pockets and spaces.. great size!

One backpack I use is the Disney backpack from the Disney Store.. the kids backpack.

Ju Ju Be bags are great!! I bought one on the recommendation from someone here and I'm hooked!! I've got the Packabe which would be GREAT for more than one child. I bought my sister one for her 2 under 2.
