OT: DD's Doppelganger

I was shopping at Kmart the other night and I spotted a Cinderella costume with a picture on the package that looks just like my DD. I was totally in shock! I probably said OMG about a hundred times! A few people around me agreed (since I had DD with me). The first pic is from the costume, the 2nd is my DD. Have you ever had anything like this happen to you? I wonder if Disney raided my FB page & stole one of her pics?!!

Yes, it has happened to us. Many years ago there was a ginger haired boy wearing a snorkel pictured on the McD's kids meal cups who looked identical to DS13 (maybe 7 at the time). My kid was convinced it WAS him and some photographer had snuck pictures of him at the waterpark.

I have a 17 year old ds who is the spitting image of Linguini from Ratatouille - not a joke- it is like the Disney folks took videos of him walking,talking,movements,even his sneakers and hair and copied him exactly. somewhere I have a great photoshop of him that someone made for us of him and his cartoon twin......

Sometimes I wonder if I haven't signed a release or something and the photographers over the years have sold pictures of my kids.....I've seen one recently that looked just like my oldest dd, had on the same headband she had at that age...etc. Crazy!!!

Wow, I would have had the same reaction, freaky! She's gorgeous btw! So did you buy the outfit just to have the pic to show her later?

Supposedly, my DD's twin is on the Irish poster hanging in the Orlando airport! I wish I could see but we haven't been down that way in a few years.

That's really amazing! They truly do look alike! (Beautiful, by the way!) At least now if you need some extra cash or want to put money in your daughter's college account, you know modeling is an option!!

yup, my Ex once sent me a picture of a sign hanging in K-marts photo studio that looked just like our DD. Never done pics at K-mart but looked just like her.
