Sorry this is off topic but I don't know anyone else who would know this and I always know I can count on the people on the dis! Anyway, I am seriously racking my brain trying to figure out what to do for my husband's first annual 29th birthday ha ha! He has everything he could ever want and we usually like to do experiences/trips instead of big gifts for birthdays and such. We always see ads for Dave & Buster's in Phoenix on tv and I know my husband would love all the video games and stuff. My question is do you think it would be appropriate to take our 15 month old daughter? I've never been and according to the website it looks more adult than Chucky Cheese and stuff, obviously why the attraction to go is there. We would go midweek in the afternoon and I'm just wondering if we would be out of place?

Thanks for the help!

We have taken ds 3 years and ds 19 months and they loved it! There are some games that you push buttons on that are kid (even toddler) friendly. We have one in KC that the whole family loves!

Midweek during the day would be perfect! Around that time they should have the meals that you can get a free $5 or so in game money too. Have fun!!!

Last time we went was on a Friday night with my husbands police unit. My boys were so well behaved and "sooo cute" we had 5-6 adults give them their tickets to redeem for prizes! And there are quite a few kid friendly prizes too.

Yes you will be fine during the day and early night. We have a few D&Bs here one was a converted Jillians that we go to all the time.

Had DDs Bowling party there when she was 10 maybe 11.

I would NOT take a 15mo to my local one after about 7pm on a Friday or Saturday night, unless I got a private room or just went for dinner.

Back in the "Game" room, it can get a little rowdy and very LOUD. A weeknight or earlier in the day on Friday or Saturday I'd have no problem with (though it still can be a little loud).

Agreed with all the PP. We actually had our DS's 1st Communion Party at D&B's a couple weeks ago. We rented one of the private areas and had a buffet and the adults and kids played in the game room. It was a fun time. The place wasn't too crowded on a Sunday afternoon but DH and
I have gone solo on a Saturday night and it is pretty loud and crazy.
