I'd be concerned of something going wrong with travelling on Christmas Eve and not being able to get there!

 It would be just your luck that it would be that trip that she loses interest in characters!

Yeah i guess that is a thought, but unless someone starts a fire in the tunnel again then I should be fine...well i hope :lmao:

I'm sure it be the same price no matter what day i went and come back on during Christmas. I think this year the price is £900 odd quid.

Ouch! That's a large chunck of money!

Just looked at my Thomas Cook brochure and it would be £1360 for the 4 of us from 23.12 - 28.12 at the Cheyenne going by Eurostar, £1224 for the Santa Fe, £1620 at the Sequia Lodge and a whopping £3192 at the DLH!!!

I know these prices are the highest but they are eye-wateringly high!!

I know if we went from the 24th-27th I think it would cost £600 which is a lot cheaper but I'm greedy and I want to go for longer lol.

I mean the costs will be cheaper as we will probably still have AP's so can get room only and then we can get eurostar seperatly but as a guide they are really high prices imho

Yeah I agree the prices are really high.

But then again crazy people like me are willing to pay them just so they can get there Disney fix :lmao:

That's true, without the crazy ones the situation financially would be worse.

Unfortunatly (for the wallet) the trip in October has both me and the wife hooked on DLRP again :goodvibes

I'm wondering when my DLRP obsession will die down...its costing me a fortune. ;)

I think i may have to start looking into staying off site.

We enjoyed the Shack in October but it was a bit of a pain having to be up by 6am so that we could leave at 7:15am to be at the park gates by 8am.

Given the choice we would stay a little closer but I never seem to find any decent deals for close-ish hotels.

When we looked at going in December, 2 rooms at a Premiere Classe Hotel (the most basic hotel in the world....probably) would have cost us £300 without breakfast and £375 with breakfast and I managed to get the Davy Crockett Ranch for £200 :confused3

That's crazy money - it's costing us not much more than that for 3 adults and a child at the DLH for 4 nights in January, so we'll still see the christmas decorations etc.

Yes but i want to go over Christmas Day etc hence why its so expensive. I personally do not mind paying that sort of money esp for 6 days.

If i had a problem with the price i would not even consider it.

Kyra will also be at school by then so i can only go during half term as i dont want to take her out of school.

I've heard the Marriott is nice, not sure if its cheap and the Holiday Inn. The Explorers sounds fun aswell. So may have to start looking into them.

ukstitch, I love the changing tickers in your sig! :thumbsup2

Thanks. I've got far too many little trips coming up soon, so it's a good way of including all my trips as tickers in my signatures without exceeding the size limits imposed on sigs :goodvibes

It's quite a good little site I found it on (I first saw them in another DISer's sig, although I forget whose) - they even include the ability to use your own custom photos :thumbsup2

Woo Hoo.:cool1: :cool1:

I've just managed to book 2 flights to Dublin with RyanAir on the 17th December for one night for the grand sum of £4.

That's really cool. Something to look forward to if I get more trips booked.

:woohoo: Another promotion opportunity for me to be passed up for has come along at work

Ok...I'm off now everyone.

If I don't get on, everyone have a great weekend :wave2:

That's a really good price. I can't get anywhere interesting with that offer from my local Ryanair base. I could get to Beauvais for £2 though (but transfers from there are quite expensive) :rolleyes1
