OT - Chat Chat Chat Away

[A Small World]

I have got my BIL, niece's & nephews presents sorted & thats it. Everything else will probably be bought online as it is easier for me.

I work in retail so i'm not really a fan of Xmas as it seems to start in September in the shops. Having said that it is my last year working in retail

DS1 and DS3 both work in retail so I now appreciate the long hours you all work leading up to Christmas Nikki

Woo hoo! I love Christmas but I have to do EVERYTHING. Anybody else in that position?

Yep me!! I've been on my own with my three for the past 12 years so I'm used to doing Christmas on my own. My mum just gives me a cheque for the three of them and asks me to sort them out - I order most things online and then bag them up for her to wrap. It is actually easier as I work from their lists and if I didn't do it this way I'd still have to take Mum shopping and show her what to buy!

Thanks I currently work on the customer service desk, so i'm glad that Christmas eve is going to be my last shift there as its only going to be a nightmare after with people bring stuff back etc

It's a great idea to be honest, (Mum isn't housebound though) - I'm still taking her shopping next week so she can get some gifts for her friends - I'm hoping I've still got Friday off and can go then.

thunders, lightining and a real wind storm last night but thanks God it was AFTER both Enrico and Edoardo had got home so i had not to worry and was nice and warm in bed.
One colleague has just called in sick, the other is off work so it's just me for the moment. Oh i love my job !!!

Only when we were out of the house really.... Plus, its not the same when his brother is clattering around playing on the Snes until Stupid AM.... I think he had been planning to tag along everywhere we went.... But Robert made it clear he was taking me for lunch on Saturday (At which point he looked really miffed that we hadn't asked him to tag along)... Then we bought our food for Sat.evening, and he looked v.v.v.put out that we hadn't bought his meal for him (Tough- We can't afford to buy for him as well!).... Then he wouldn't let us have any time together.... I couldn't even sit next to Robert 'cause he blocked where I usually sit....! I was getting really cross yesterday when he wouldn't stop just coming up to Roberts room....

Having said all that, it was a nice weekend.... Just disapointing that we couldn't have the house to ourselves...
