I know, im still tempted but i think ill stick with toast for a snack later instead of a huge pizza with garlic bread and a large bottle of tango.:lovestruc

Temptation may give in :lmao:

Have you tried the fresh pizza's from Asda? They are amazing!

Bob - I've just looked at the prices (was going to treat the wife for our wedding anniversary).

 You must have the most lovely mother in the world...it's actually cheaper for me to stay a night in the DLH than to stay a night there!!

Afternoon all

Firstly - stop talking about pizza as I am on a diet and you are making me hungry

Bob - loved your trip report - I love Edinburgh, it is a beautiful city and the Witchery looks beautiful

I'm not a big fan of Asda Pizzas.... I love their curries though!

My Mum was incredibly generous paying for us to have a night there, and the meal. She mainly did so because I've never had a proper birthday party (Apart from little house parties as a child.... and I stopped those when I was 8!) and because I couldn't think of a main present I wanted..... It was such a lovely thing for her to do..... Hence why we bought her some Witchery chocolate back, and the bottle of Champers from our room!

I have 2 ulcers in my mouth so if i did get a pizza it would a painful event.

Jackie im shocked you have done all your Crimbo shopping, i knew i should of gone to boots today. Was it a today only sale?

The curries are lovely from Asda.

That was a very generous thing for her to do. I'm glad you enjoyed your lovely trip. It really does look like an amazing place.

Try some bonjela - that seems to help whenever I get any. It hurts when applying it but it's much better after.

I wouldn't recommend the bonjela once stuff though - it's very expensive and doesn't work properly anyway.

I've never found that Bonjella works for me.

I usually eat natural youghurt and regular mouth washes with warm (as warm as possible) salty water

I dont use gels or anything as the pain kills my mouth and i tend to utter words unsuitable for the DIS lol.

I will just sit the pain out, I'm blaming them huge Disney lollies from DLP as they cut the sides of my mouth hence the big hefty ulcers.

I adore Edinburgh too.... Robert had never been before, but he loved it too. We're already plotting a trip back sometime (Though not to The Witchery unless we win the lottery!)..... :goodvibes

LOL! I get them if I am stressed. The last time I had them was after I'd spent three days and nights sleeping in Sofia Airport trying to get out of a snowed in Bulgaria this time last year.

Bob thanks for writing a TR

Your room looked absolutely amazing and so did your meal.
Makes me want to go back to Edinburgh soon.

**** I've just realised that I paid my DLRP holiday off last Wednesday and I haven't had the email or the money taken from my account yet.

I'm worried now!

OMG! Thank you so much :worship:

Pizza Hut lunch time on Saturday now then! Woop Woop!

Same idea as us then! Neil said he would treat us being as it looks like we can't go to DLRP!

Lottie has a photoshoot at 4.30, so we'll eat afterwards mmmm.......
