Just so y'all know, we haven' heard anything about Robert's Mums op (Which I'm a little annoyed about- I can understand his Dad not wanting to call everyone, but I think he could have rang to just let us know...!).... We're treating no news as good news though....

So we woke up to loads more snow and I have another snow day!! My school has closed, Pete's school hasn't closed yet (his school is 40 minutes away) but he can't get in even if it doesn't close as the roads he needs to travel down to get there are closed!

Edit: Pete's school has just shut too! I think every school in our town has closed (and we have a lot of schools here!) The police are saying no one should travel unless necessary.

Good morning everyone - its snowing here now as well

I just went out into the back garden to feed the bunnies and I had to put my wellies on! We have about 8 inches of snow! My bunnies are now in the garden playing in it! The cats have decided it is too cold and are sleeping in the conservatory!! The police have just announced on the radio for people not to travel unless it is an emergency and they have closed loads of the roads leading into our town. When I went outside to feed the bunnies it was so eerily quiet.

Good morning!! For once I'm saying 'thank goodness we didn't have any more snow overnight' lol. Adam's nursery is open today but I'm not taking him in. I daren't drive as my road here is still icy. I've just tried pushing him in the buggy and I only got as far as 2 inches and I gave up lol. No way am I going to walk as I can't imagine how long it'd take us there and back (usually a 15 min walk). So, I think I'll take him into town with me as I have my usual morning coffee with friends at the library and then might stay for Rhyme Time or something if he's up for it. Sigh, I am really missing my 'child-free' days this week lol.
