"Touch wood" I haven't come down with any colds/illness even though I have been in contact with have been. I wouldn't mind some time off work though

I have 5 children off in my class at the moment with chicken pox, luckily I've already had it so should be OK. We are going on a field trip on Wednesday and I know the kids were looking forward to it, hopefully some of them will be back in school to go then.

I havent been off work ill since i started the job Im in (4 1/2 years) and have now got to the point that if I am off its got to be for something more worthwhile than a cold

Even sitting near one makes me feel ill. I better get over my phobia before I have kids! My mum assures me i'll be different then.

I was at a new job 2 days once before i came down with something the Doctor called Coxsackie . It looked just like chickenpox but wasn't as i had already had it. My boss was not impressed when i was signed off for a week.

Oh dear, well hopefully you've made up for it now.

I got shingles when I was 14 and it was such misery!

Jack and I also got scabies from his friend who lives on a farm - it was the most miserable time of our lives!

My friend and her children had that, she swore she got it at Pontins. I really felt for her as it reduced her to tears.

It did me a number of times - its so miserable! Jacks still got scars from it as the lotion to ure it made his skin go mad with eczma!

I haven't been off ill since 2006 & then that was only for a day as I had a chest infection & couldn't talk without coughing.

My dad hasn't had a day off ill from work for over 25 years
