Got 'em firmly crossed for you!! Whatever anyone says- Your wedding is for you and Henry! Do it how the both of you want!! I'm still in arguments with my mother about a LOT of stuff, but shes learning she isn't getting her own way!! Weddings shouldn't be compromised on!

I agree, we wont be compromising....I just dont want to fall out with him , were planning on paying for it all ourselves .... so all he has to do is turn up (and well pay for a trip to Florida but I will ignore that little part!). I am going armed with photos to show him that it wont be tacky etc

Just be cool and calm- It's your one and only wedding day!! My mother has informed me this week my wedding is going to be an utter shambles, to which I responded: "Fine- But it will be MY shambles!!!!".....

Awww Bob, I think your wedding sounds great. This part of the reason why we want to pay for it ourselves so no one can complain etc. If people start whinging we will just elope! Henrys parents are very excited
