OT: ChaCha

I haven't done ChaCha since September. I went on today and received ZERO queries. I see that there are problems with ChaCha right now. Would someone mind updating me on things I might have missed?


Are there any really important updates I've missed?

lovehoney, did you hear about the 20 question limit for the IS? If so, then you haven't missed much other then the fact that most guides are only getting questions every 3-6 minutes, that is if they are lucky since some are getting none at all, and some keep getting booted out.

Sure, it's all there on ChaCha. The info that is, but let me know if you have any other questions.




Speaking of questions......I logged on at 9:26 and it's now 10:09 here and I've had exactly three questions. They were all specialist and the first one went fine.

With the last two, it did that thing that it was doing before where you click on it to accept it and nothing happens, no question comes up, and finally you get the "you have taken too long to accept this question" message.

I think I'm just about done with ChaCha. Not sure this aggravation is worth the 20 cents.

As far as I know, they haven't addressed it. Some people have said it's because they are going automated. I don't know anything about it though.

I just got logged on and I already have had 5 questions. There is no rhyme or reason with ChaCha lately. It seems some people get questions one day and the next day get nada. I am just glad I am starting to see the .20 add up. Let's hope EVERYONE starts getting ding donged.

I really try to stay positive. I'm not so much into doom and gloom but 2 questions in 18 minutes is dissapointing. They were super easy questions too so it's not that most of that time was spent looking for answers.

And I am the only one who gets mad when people post that they are "B2B"? How is that even happening? Are there preferred guides?

I have had quite a few questions where the person's history had unanswered questions. This to me is looking like a system error and not really a lack of people texting or calling in questions.

I need to make another 300 before payday......clearly that is not going to happen now! I could easily have made it if not for the crash. I was even going to take half a day vacation tomorrow and a full day vacation friday from my real job to bust out a ton of questions on ChaCha to have the money for black friday. I swear they must have the worst IT in the world, no other company would like a problem like this go on for a week. I am starting to think it is on purpose and maybe it will pick up after the 15th (maybe they are low on cash)

Every time chacha does an upgrade or change to its programing they system goes funky. it is usually back up within a few days. They were up and running earlier today but it crashed again. Everyone has to remember...there is no program already written for this. They are writing programs and codes from scratch. Glitches happen and then have to be worked out. I was one that was busy earlier today then it crashed. I am glad i got in while it was good. I have faith that this will be fixed in another day or so. They are trying and they are updating on the forums. You just have to read through everyone doom saying that chacha is going under, going automated, that they are doing this on purpose. it serves chacha no good to have queries going unanswered. They make their money off the adds at the end of the text so they NEED those to be going out. and the aren't.
