I'm able to see earning and get into the forums. But the incoming questions are slow. I find weekends to be very frustrating. Whenever they offer bonuses I can't get any questions. I've done 400 this week because the mid week mornings and evenings are really busy. But no bonuses then. Last weekend I had to stay on for the full 3 hrs to get the 50 for the bonus. Today it is 250 for the day. I'll never hit it the rate they are coming.

My DD has made guide and she's addicted. She was wanting to know the best way to set her status to away when the questions are coming in back to back and she needs to get out. Right now all she can figure out is to hit decline until she can get the away status set before another question comes. Is there a better way? She knows you're really not suppose to hit decline, but they were coming so fast today that's all she could do. Thanks!

PS...she's done over 200 questions in 24 hours and is having a ball.

There is a button underneath the SEND ANSWER button that allows you to set your status to "away." You have to scroll down far below the "send answer" button to see it.

The bonus is for the whole day - if you do 250 before 3 am you get 20 dollars. I got 50 in early and thought I would be ok but it is dead now

I didn't get the email about the bonus, which is weird because I've gotten all the other ones. I need to get 50 in before midnight but it is so slow. I doubt I'll get my 200 for the week. I click on the question, then it takes forever to load, then tells me I've taken too long to answer.

I get the emails days late. I got the one for this past Sunday on Tuesday. Now I just try to remember to check the forum.

This may have already been asked already, so I apologize in advance. On Friday I received an email from ChaCha asking me to be a transcriber. I took the test and then received another email saying I would hear back in a few days. Has this happened to anyone else? Also, how long did it take for you to hear back? Thanks for your help!!

Hi Fofinia! Hope all is well! I agree with you on this. I've basically given up answering questions during the weekend. It doesn't seem to be worth my time.

I have been offered the opportunity to be a transcriber as well but haven't taken the test (or even studied up on it). Anyway, what is the pay, if you don't mind me asking. Not sure I can ask that here???

I tried yesterday to do a bunch and it was so slow, I did it for a few hours. But I didn't come anywhere near what I usually do. Oh well. It's too bad to. I like Sundays because of all the football questions. To give someone a score is sooooo easy!

HI, I was accepted yesterday (yah) but I am still trying to grasp the TG thing. So from Sunday, October 12 - Saturday, October 18 I need to place above 95% on 200 or more answers. If I do, then from Thursday, October 23 at noon through Thursday, October 30 at noon I will make .20 instead of .10. But up until the 23rd I will still be .10. If I continue to make TG status I will stay at .20.

Is this correct? So I won't qualify got .20 until after the 23rd if I make the list.

So what I did was get my 200 and some change (a buffer) for the week and stopped until thursday afternoon when the list came out. I made top guide and then busted my butt to get my 200 done before saturday (but now at the higher rate!). It's risky, and you have to be careful of contests, but it just wasn't worth it for me to work for .10/question.
One week, I didn't make my 200 in time (got sick), BUT, I was still at .20 until Thursday, so my got my new week's 200 in before the list came out. Then I took the week off until the next list came out. I did end up working that weekend, but only because they were offerring garanteed cash so it made my .10 look like .20 again.
So while it's confusing, it's nice because it allows you to "work the system."

Afternoons, evenings, and night time. Make sure you set up your categories, that will increase your questions.
