Questions are coming in, but not hopping like you're getting. And I have loads of keywords set.

I've only been able to see the questions before when they're coming in super fast back to back (as soon as I hit submit). Are you comparing to the old universe? Or are you saying they did some sort of server upgrade in the last couple days? I haven't been on since the weekend.

It's not your keywords anymore, you have to have your Categories & Interests selected. Out of 20 questions, I've only had 2 that were Generalist (they show up on your Current list). It's awesome!!

Questions have been rapid fire for me today.

I deleted the non-famous person look-up from my selected categories. I was getting so many questions from likely teens wanting me to look up friends without giving any information about them. I don't know if I can add it back later or if I even want to.

I don't really get. Saturday night I got nothing and others here had many. Today I'm getting back to back questions with reports here of it being slow.

Did you read the changes they are making in regards to quick answers? They are having the Expeditors answer the quick questions, like the ones you might use Magic 8 ball and What's your favorite color, etc. All the easy ones. So, only the ones that require a lot of research will be passed on to the guides. I really liked getting an easy one now and then to make up for the longer ones. It doesn't look like that will be happening now.

Is there a way to opt-out of the explicit questions in the new system? I don't know why, but this evening I actually got a string of questions that were intelligent and legitimate and I didn't feel the need to shower afterward...

I have been getting a ton of explicit inquiries. This morning I got so angry at one question that I replied, "Your local police department has been notified." Basically the guy said he had someone in handcuffs and was going to do something really bad. I'll leave out all the explicit information that was given. People should not think it is OK to act like that.

I hope he was sweating for a little while!

I didn't like that change either because those are the super fast answers. It's nice to get a break. My thought was now I'm going to use a lot more time to make money. That would be OK, if they increase pay a little.

But, I am still get LOTS of conversation questions. Maybe the expeditiors are still passing them on. Answering even short ones will take them more time, I would think, for the same pay.

I thought the Explicit questions would bother me, but they really don't. Most of them ask the a lot the same questions. I just answer them as research based as i can. I don't give straight answers when they ask me personal questions.
However, I can see how some people would be upset. ChaCha would be a great job for my MIL, except for the Explicit questions. She would have a heart attack.

I wish I could opt out of the hard Math questions or the really technical electronics questions (will such and such device be compatiable with such and such device). I'm sure though there are a lot of guide who love that stuff.

I think the categories are getting better in the short time and hopefully will continue to improve. I've been getting more questions geared to my preferences and fewer to those that aren't.

If it was that bad you should have hit abuse. You should not answer questions like that. And you should NEVER lie to the IS.

As far as the change thing, here is my take on it. The expeditors are still only being paid .02 to answer those questions. It will take time and they will see that sending them to a guide and moving on to the next question will make them more money than if they stop expediting for a few seconds to answer a questions. And really, would you do our job for .02? That is what they are asking the expeditors to do. As far as I can tell they have the option to answer, they don't have to. I still got a ton of conversational questions yesterday. Some expeditors might answer questions just for the novelty but I think in the long run they will stop and just expedite because that is how they make more money. Does that make sense?

www.mathway.com has all different types of math questions it can answer and it shows all the work, even though we can't pass that on. Whenever I get a math problem, which is one of my categories, I give them the answer and say Don't forget to show your work!

Top guide has been posted! 100/100 again!! thanks, sweetpea, for the inspiration to stop getting bogged down in finding THE perfect answer! Obviously, my accuracy was still high, but I was flying with most of my answers at under 1:30! I'm looking forward to testing the new specialist system during naptime today! I should be soaring!
