Quick question since I got a quality control review. I had a question about whether I have ever had a fantasy about being with two women. I did a search, used the ChaCha homepage and answered that No, I had never had a fantasy like that. Should I have reported this question instead of answering it?

No, you should have answered it. What did QC say? They probably just wanted you to use a diff page as a result.

ChaCha.com is only a source if you're answering a question about ChaCha. You should have used a site about fantasies (doesn't have to be dirty) for your source.

So, even if someone just says, "Thank you, bye," you don't use ChaCha as your source. You can look back to what they were previously discussing and make a follow-up comment on that, or look up the meaning for "thank you" but you still have to find a different source page.

I was accepted as a guide last Friday and have already made $67 since then.. woohoo! Working the night shift (midnight to 3am) where I live is really busy, questions are constantly popping up.

I'm not digging the pay decrease though.

Even under that link, those are strictly questions about ChaCha -- it doesn't address the conversational queries at all. For the conversational ones, you need to find your own source that doesn't link to ChaCha.

They made the change about a month ago and haven't put it in the knowledge base as of yet. It's in the forums.

I've been using those since they put them on there & have made top guide each week & have never gotten a QC email...so until I do...

Under the second one from the top, it says to use it for conversational questions such as "How are you?" and "What's your name." As long as it says that, I'll keep using it. All the other links there are specific to ChaCha questions but not that one.

I try to hit view recent activity on every search and I know we are supposed to but sometimes I forget - when you really just don't need it - in those situtations - can QC tell or do they just know if the answer totally didn't match?

I logged on to ChaCha tonight, knowing that I was about $12 behind my goal. I answered a few questions and then checked my account, and I had $10 more than I had earlier when I logged out. It took me a second and then I remembered the weekend contest. I went to check the winners, and sure enough I was a random hourly winner for $10! Now, not only can I catch up to my goal, but I can get ahead!

I am glad you won! I think ChaCha needs to fix their programing problems. I had terrible trouble all weekend. I would get a query do my research find the answer & couldn't validate. They kept asking me to log back in as I was logged out.
If I was logged out, or offline, how was I able to complete the search? So, I send feedback, because out of a total of 10 attempted questions, I got paid for one. I haven't gotten a response.
This has to effect my accuracy, right?

I think they can't tell, but it sometimes changes the meaning of the question, so still try to do it.
