Oh, if it wouldn't get me in trouble I would put that in the answer or something like, "Copies of all ChaCha questions are posted on the monthly phone bill." -you can always tell when it's a young kid! They are so obvious- I have 12 and 14 year old boys, I would die if I caught them texting some of the things that I get daily!



AND, I'm 44 years old and never heard of so many "new" words referring to adult activities. I've learned more then I ever wanted to from these questions!

Yes, when you pull up a history there should be a url address at the end of each answer. Copy that and paste it in your browser. It will pull up a screen that says visit source website. Click on that and you will be brought to whatever link the previous guide used!

I answered questions tonight and it was really addictive. I kept saying just "one more". I finally told myself I would quit after the next crude question. It didn't take long. I made $5 tonight. Thank you for letting us DISers know about this opportunity.

Same thing here, well except the homework part ! I just logged off myself after answering about 5 or 6 questions.

For those asking about the crank/conversational questions, I just use the chacha.com page or link some random page that vaguely has to do with the question.

They changed the rule on using the chacha.com page. If it's a conversational or crank question you have to link to a different site -- something that relates to their comment. For example, if you just get "thank you," you should find a site that defines thank you or gives the history of it, or maybe even a site that has it in different languages.

The only time you should link to chacha.com is when they're asking specifically about ChaCha.

I won the drawing for top guides last week! And here I was wondering if they would fire me for not giving good enough answers, and it said I had 100% accuracy!
BUT, I haven't seen the money. It said it would be deposited in a couple of days but it hasn't yet. I'm kind of wondering if I actually will see the money?

So I get this welcome notification email and I can access my account page and can set up payment info but I never finished registration?? Does this mean I am up to the simulator test?ps-it says Im a master guide and training is in process under my profile and it also says to finish registration to go to underground and login..I do and there is no continuation of registration anywhere..Help!

For those that did the direct deposit, how does that work? I set mine up to late this month so missed out on the 15th deposit. My basic question is what is the cut off for paying. Meaning when I get paid mid month in Aug, do I just get what I made in July, or do I get whatever I made all the way up to the payment day?

Do you guys put "cutesy" stuff on your responses to the IS if there is room? I've always done it, but I notice very little of it on the history. It'd be a lot quicker to just spit out the answer, especially ones like when was such and such celebrity born. That takes no time at all to find. Adding something funny/witty/have a nice day/chacha on! whatever can literally double my time on those questions. I think that a lot of people aren't doing it just for time's sake. But we are supposed to be doing that, right?

I have to say that I HATE HATE HATE the who is so and so from xxx questions. I swear I am lucky to find them 50% of the time. Why do they think that everyone is on the internet?! And half the time it's their teen friends who I can't find addresses or phones for b/c they still live at home and it's under their parents name.

I signed up with ChaCha when they first started a couple years ago, I used to do searches but kinda let it lag off and didn't do anything more with it. I decided to get back into it, and for some reason was made a Voice transcriber. Ugh.

Is anyone else here a VT for ChaCha? If so how much do you usually make, so far it seems pretty slow.

Yikes, I just got a Quality Control ding from ChaCha. Apparently I misunderstood the "text CACEL or STOP" option to mean if they were done asking they could do that. Looks like they do that only if they didn't want to really use the service or get auto replies. Woops.

I have a stupid question... did you have to give your SSN? I assume so, since you have to fill out a W-9. I guess I'm a little hesitant to give that out, but I haven't found anything out there that says someone ran into trouble with them. I was approved to take the evaluation. Just been dragging my feet because of the whole SSN thing.

I think you did the right thing. That's what FB is for.

I know I've had that very same thing happen to me before, along with tons of other issues. I've never bothered to use FB, but that's because I'm lazy.
