We were flipping back and forth to the All Star game the other night and saw that the American League had scored. DH wondered who the Natl League pitcher was that gave up the runs. So i sent the message "Who was the pitcher for the NL when AL scored their two runs in All Star game tonight" My reply was "Who is "AL" do you mean Alabama?" to which I replied "American League". The reply to that was the standard, we need more information to help you.

So I had to try "In tonight's MLB All Star game who was pitching for the Natl League when the American League scored their first two runs" (because by that time they had scored again) That time I got the answer I was looking for, but I was kind of frustrated - I laughed at the first "Alabama??" reply because I felt bad that they didn't know the abbreviations - although they still should have been able to find it - but when I replied with American League - if they looked at the history they would have had enough info and I wanted to reply and say that - but knew it would go to a different guide

Well I took the first part of the test 3 days ago. Got my results yesterday that I could now take the simulated test. Already has my results by today!!! I am in. I played on the site tonight and earned $20. This is great. I am a little upset that they are now only paying .15 an answer. Anyone know more about that?

They will pay you .20 after your initial training period. I believe it lasts 1 month or for 1000 messages. Congratulations!

Nowhere in my keywords do I have anything about football, yet I keep getting stupid football questions. Which I don't mind looking up, (better than the obscure positions) but when they ask something like "record rushing touchdowns" for the 2008 season & I can't find the answer. (mainly because I have no idea what that is & all I get are historical records & I know OJ wasn't the leader in 2008...& someone had to have broken his record by now?) I hate football!
...so I get an email from Chacha QC ....All my question said was "record rushing touchdowns." I had to look in history for the 2007/2008 season. They were upset that I asked what a rushing touchdown was & that I didn't find the correct answer. I found the answer for record historical yards rushing, (I know it ain't the same thing now) I added that & said please try again.
At least 5 guides before me had not answered or answered incorrectly also. So, at least I tried. I hate getting lumped in with the rest of these dingbats! I hope they get an email too!
Maybe this FB thing is a good thing because I haven't gotten any good feedback. Positive reinforecement rewards are a better way to train.

Just read the training material and watch the videos that they recommend. When you take the sim, always keep a tab up with google on it. I find my answers with google easier than with their search engine - even though their search engine is powered by google.

There have been several questions I have received that had nothing to do with my keywords. I think that the questions come to an available guide and are not based on your keywords.

I love doing this. It is great to just hop on-line whenever I get a chance. I need to d/l Firefox on our laptop. Does ChaCha allow more than one computer to be used?
Good luck to those getting ready to take the sim test. Like someone else said, read everything! Especially watch the video about how to answer questions. There are added buttons for ChaCha and at first it really threw me off. Take a deep breath and just do a search! If you get stumped go to like a yahoo answers site because usually the answers provided have lnks to web sites they found the info from. Click the link and capture that info for your reply! I even use Wiki sites to find other web sites to quote if I get stumped. Just make sure you do not quote from Wiki or yahoo answers. GOOD LUCK!!!

I agree. I do think they *try* to route questions to guides with those interests, but it just doesn't always work out. I guess I'd rather get questions unrelated to my interests than no questions at all! I'm still waiting for the switchover from keywords to interests (or whatever they call it).

And I could answer sports questions all day - at least I know they have a tangible answer out there somewhere and I just have to find it! It could be confusing if you aren't used to looking at the stats sheets though.
