Okay, now that i was able to actually make an account, i'm getting an error while trying to take the Fitness Assessment 1! This is absolutely riddiculous!
Any one else having this problem?

Same here. It seems we get a couple of steps further each day.

I am having it too...they sent an email saying the website was experiencing this problem though

I filled out the online form on Sunday night, and still haven't got an email from them. I actually have a few free hours in the day while the boys are at VBS to 'study' the handbook too - if I'd heard back.

Anyone else filled out the form and not heard back 48 hours later?

I know. I've been getting that from my own son and it's driving me nuts. He'll text me saying, "Mom! ChaCha sucks, would you look up XYZ for me???" and I'll end up finding the answer right away. I'm starting to think that some guides just rely on their own knowledge rather than even attempting a search.

I've been thinking about this too - I get frustrated with bum links from other guides or just mis-information. I had a question today about sex offenders in a certain neighborhood - the guide sent them a link to a church website & said he didn't find any?

But, with 15,000 guides, there are only about 600 or so Top Guides each week (give or take). That means that about 5% of the guides are answering with 95% (or more) accuracy. What are the other 95% of guides doing?

I did see that they announced a new feedback option for IS texters to provided feedback on their searches. Hopefully that will help QC catch the inadequate responses too.

And to all those who are having technical problems - that stinks, and I really hope you (and ChaCha) get it worked out soon. Can you access the ChaCha forum from the Underground (I can't remember when you get access to that) - there may be some additional advice over there? Good luck!

Ooh, and woot for me - 4 weeks in a row on the Top Guide list. Too bad I haven't won the random drawing yet!

I had a question earlier today that was "are you fricken kidding me?" so I looked in the history. The person had asked "tell me what you know about Joe Jonas" 2 questions before. The guide who got it said "I'm sorry, I need more than that. Tell us where Joe Jonas lives and how old he is or we won't be able to find him." The person then replied back "he's JOE JONAS. The oldest one. Can you tell me some stuff about him." The next guide says "Can you tell me more about Joe Jonas? Where is he from? What does he do? Stuff like that." The person replies. "He's JOE JONAS and he's 20." The last guide says "sorry but we can't locate any information on Joe Jonas. Can I help with anything else?"

I am not a fan of the "Who is suzy smith" queries either but come on people, at least TRY. Whoever said they can't find anything on Joe Jonas definitely didn't do a search before answering! So this girl (I'm assuming) texts 4 times before I finally replied back with a random Joe Jonas fact when finding SOMETHING to say about one of the Jonas brothers should not be a difficult thing to do.

Maybe it's a generational thing though. I know about the Jonas brothers b/c I have elementary age sons. Someone in their late 20s might not have a clue who they are. I say that b/c when telling a fried the story above she said she saw one in history where the person had asked "what are the Jonas Brothers first names?" and the guide replied "Bob and Larry."

I do wish they would crack down on people not even trying to give a real answer. The more people who get awful answers the less likely they will be to use ChaCha or recommend it to a friend and that translates to fewer querries to go around.

I do wish they would crack down on people not even trying to give a real answer. The more people who get awful answers the less likely they will be to use ChaCha or recommend it to a friend and that translates to fewer querries to go around.

I know - it's outright infuriating, isn't it? How hard is it to just put the original question in a search? I do that every single time, even when I get what I think is nonsense. Often that nonsense is actually a movie line or song lyrics and I'm able to respond back in kind.

I sent a ton of messages TO chacha today asking about stocks. I worded them so I'd get a human (I hope). I kept thinking I hope one of the disboard guides get my questions! 20 cents for you, and 20 cents for you... lol

So I just took my simulator test. And one of the questions took me 10:23. is that too long? Will I get rejected for it? I was just trying to be thorough and get it right. Argh!!! And can you only site one website in your answer? Cuz my answer had two parts and I found it more clearly explained on two different websites but I couldn't connect both of them to the answer.

I need help!

I was in the middle of taking the Sim Test. I answered one question and started on the next. The pop up window where you answer closed and I never got to answer. Now, I've been waiting for about 10 minutes without the door bell ringing again. I just now got a message that session timed out. It keeps logging me off now and I've not been able to answer a couple of questions that I started. What should I do? I really wanted to earn some extra money with this and I'm so disappointed!

Yes, it stinks when you try to look up what the guide before you has done, and they've just linked to the ChaCha page on a non-ChaCha question!

I've had 2 funny coincidences: the other night, the 1st person asked "Who is Keith Ballantyne in CA?" Well, Ballantyne is my grandparent's last name! No relation though, I don't think!

Last night, someone asked "What is the 3rd word in the 3rd paragraph of the 3rd chapter of the 3rd book in the Harry Potter series?" Well, since I happen to be re-reading that book right now, I grabbed my copy, counted words, linked to the Harry Potter website, and told them that it was "and".
