I still haven't received my pin number, though my card came on Monday or Tuesday. I'm in no hurry for it because it's my new Disney fund, but I still want to have it!

Anybody use their ATM card yet? I just received my ATM and PIN # and yesterday used "pay me now" to transfer money to the ATM card. Today I tried to go to an ATM to take some of the money out and it wouldn't let me. ATM said "please contact your financial institution." Ugh..

I've used mine with no problems - both as an ATM card and as a debit card, just to make sure it worked!

Did you check your FIB account to make sure the money transferred OK? Mine didn't right away, but it showed up later.

Hope you get that resolved soon - weird! Did you choose "checking account" as your source of funds? That threw me a little because for a second I wasn't sure what kind of account it was (oops!).

i got the e-mail from FIB stating my account was open and inviting me to access it, so i did and when it didn't work, i tried again...and again...now my account is locked out until i can call them (they're already closed) and have them fix it, lol, oh well, i don't have my debit card yet anyway, i just wanted to login and check out their site.

I got an email saying I was a top guide this week Last week QC kept sending me notes, like to add cutesy stuff to the end of my messages if I had space leftover. I must be "cute" enough now lol

I hit $150 last night. Friday starts my "work week". I am trying very hard to make $75 a week! I hope to work a LOT tonight so I don't feel pressured to log in during the week to work. Plus there is a contest going on. Anyone else working a lot this holiday weekend?

Did anyone figure out the contractor tax thing? I think we'll have to pay ssn/medicare tax twice because your employer normally pays it once and you pay once. But you can deduct your internet connection as an expense so that will help.

About the team thing, your new person just has to enter your email when they sign up and that's it. I have one team member, she doesn't work a lot but that is ok

BTW, if anyone reads this thread and decides to sign up, don't do it unless you are signing up under one of us please! I didn't know and wasted my sign up referral that would of helped someone!

Ya, it is their version of a referral program. You get 2 cents for every question they answer.

Kimmo is right - we'll pay double FICA & Social Security (2.9% & 12.4% I think).

I assume these are in addition to regular income tax also.
I don't know this link is absolutely up to date, but I figured it's a starting point.

Oh- maybe that's it! I chose "savings account" because I didn't know what it was! So choosing "checking" worked for you? I'll have to go try that before I bug them again with another problem! LOL

I faxed mine the same day and am till unverified. I read on the ChaCha forums that they verify on the 10th of the month. I have sent one email to ask if they had at least received my check, but never got a message back, even though I asked for a reply (they are not inspiring alot of confidence in me). If I'm not verified by next Monday, I'll start following up. I may scan my check and the form and email it to them. I sas too on the forums, that some people did this and were verified the next day.

I also read there that a number of guides had still not been paid 7-10 days after the 15th of the month (yes, they had $100 in earnings). Has anyone had experience with that?

That stinks about verification taking so long! I hope you get it worked out soon.

I saw a lot of threads about people having the same problem but nothing about not getting paid at all - unless it had to do with the verification thing too.

I definitely feel better having my debit card in hand - I would be losing it if I hadn't been verified yet!

Good luck on getting it straightened out next week!

It said somewhere on CHaCha.com (I read it when I was trying to decide which form of payment to choose) that is can take 7-14 days for it to clear in your account. That's normal for the direct deposit, so don't worry if it happens. That's why I went w/ the debit card...which I haven't received yet...go the email last Monday saying all was well & to expect it, so I guess we're in the same boat.

I was trying my darnedest to get in 100 before midnight so I could be eligible for one of the contests, but I only got in the 90s. I worked my fingers to the bone answering them one after the other. It was crazy! You can really make some money on weekends and during the wee hours of the morning!

Yep - it was crazy last night! I ended up staying on for an extra hour or so because it was just so busy. I did get the alert on my phone that there was high volume too.

I made $50 yesterday! Woo hoo!
