Thanks again everyone! We had a long day yesterday, but we did it. We went to each dealer and thoroughly looked over and test drove each car. It's a really hard decision, but in the end, the Nissan Versa 1.8 SL hatchback won. The Vibe was my personal favorite, but even with GM incentives & Supplier pricing, it was still $2000 more. Plus, the Vibe doesn't have an MP3 jack - and that's a big deal to DH. The Fit is very innovative with it's rear seating/cargo area design, but the seats are just uncomfortable! The interior is not as nice as the other two cars, and the what you see is what you get, you better buy it now or it won't be here tomorrow sales pitch was a big turn off. I realize that the Fit is in demand, but we're not in THAT much of a rush! Last, but not least, the Versa is a really nice little car. Yes, it is little, but it doesn't really feel that way, at least, not as bad as the Fit does. We drove an SL with everything, including sunroof, bluetooth phone system, keyless ignition, and CVT, and it was over $1000 less than the Vibe without half the goodies! Sooooo, the decision for us is which Versa to get - an SL with just ABS at a really great price ($17,000 out the door, including tax) or a fully loaded SL with everything but the kitchen sink ($19,000 out the door). I think I'd be happy with either one. We're going back out today to buy it. Wish us luck!
Thanks again everyone!
