Hope this is okay to ask here...didn't know where to post

We are new to camping and I am looking for a concert event for campers. I just saw one in FL but we found out about it too late. I was hoping that you guys could give me the scoop if your area hosts anything like that. Right now I am specifically trying to plan around our anniversary (Sept - Oct). But I'd like to find about about any country music event, maybe even over the summer.

Thanks in advance :)

If you want to travel north.....

Indian Ranch Campground in Webster, MA has a nice concert area and hosts several during the summer. I'm not sure about the fall, but fall in New England is great!

if you like country then JAMBOREE IN THE HILLS is the place to go 4 days 24+ acts camping on site. 15 miles west of wheeling wv. in morristown, ohio, july 13-16 .they have a web site check it out it's a blast.ps bring your water spray bottle and get a little wet.

thanks I'll check into those...I think we are going to have sooo much fun camping :))))

Fantastic FREE three-day events with many acts, four or five stages at all times, 100,000 people or so,but because its all day and many stages, seating is not a problem. American Folk Festival in Bangor, Maine at the end of August and the National Folk Festival in Richmond, VA in mid-October. Not strictly country, lots of ethnic folk music, too. Richmond has lots of Bluegrass. And the price is right! Lots of arts and crafts, food, etc.
