In the spring I damaged the ulnar nerve in my right arm. I don't think I'll be able to drag my 2 wheeled suitcase through the airport when we fly to WDW next winter. I have been looking at a 4 wheel spinner suitcase (lightweight) as I wouldn't have to drag it behind me with my left arm. I almost bought a Heys hybrid but found that it was a little larger than Westjet allows for checked baggage. I probably wouldn't worry about that if my husband hadn't had his suitcase measured every time we have flown because it looks big but is exactly the airline measurement. I'm looking for recommendations from anyone who has bought 4 wheel spinner luggage. Thanks.

I have a Heys 4WD and have never had any issues with Westjet or AirCanada.

Just bought a set of Heys 4WD and have a set of Samsonite 4WD that we've had for 4-5 years and love. The Heys is more lightweight however it's the 4WD that saves me as I have trouble with my right shoulder. Finding these sets at a reasonable price has been a lifesaver for us. I highly recommend either set and we have had no trouble with sizes; the Samsonite set is larger and we could definitely fill it overweight, but we're careful. Costco occassionally has sets but they sell out quickly. Good Luck in your search. You'll be so happy when you have one.

I second/third Heys luggage! We don't have the spinners ourselves, but they look very good. I suggest you consider purchasing your luggage either through The Shopping Channel, or through the Heys website--the prices seem to be better than in many stores.

Also consider purchasing packing cases from Heys. The packing cases make it a lot easier to organize packing.

I also have bought Heys at Costco and got great deals. Keep looking as they get them often but sell out quickly.

I bought our Heys last year through Sears. They were half price through the Wish Book.

I love Heys luggage! :lovestruc I have 3 peices of the XCase luggage in silver... I love it! Its SO light!

Whatever you chose, make sure to pick out a bright or unusual colour! It makes it so much easier to pick out your luggage on the carousel when you're not looking for yet another black suitcase. My silver luggage is so easy to spot!

I bought the SpinAir for my trip in July. After I bought it I found out it is 1/2 an inch too big one direction. I was fine on Air Canada. They didn't even measure it. That may not always be the case though. Got in half price on the Sears website. It was full price in the store and they would not match their online price. Weird.

I only got the 30" and the carry-on as that was all I need. Got it for $237 including taxes. I love it. I took it on a cruise and it was not even stuffed full!

I bought the best 4 spinner wheel set @ Walmart in the States back in May. It is made by Jeep.........it came with a large suitcase, large carry-on with wheels & a make-up bag ~ I love it! I paid about $60-70 US for it.

We just picked up 2 Heys 29" spinner cases online from Beyond the Rack. We were torn between the Heys and Samsonite, but the Heys ended up being $30 cheaper per piece. Hopefully they arrive before our December trip!

I wouldn't be too concerned about a luggage piece being an inch or two oversize. I read up a lot on luggage on the Flyer Talk forums, and the consensus is you'll almost never get stopped for oversized luggage, as long as it's not over the weight limit.
