OT- But we need help!!

I did a Google search under stick toy horses and it kept bringing up stick horses under Amazon/Toys R Us. I also have 2 Uncles who are make custom wood pieces for a living. I will contact them to see if the know of a blue print or another resource. I think for $7.99 you won't be able to beat that price if Toys R Us "donates" some and I can not imagine they would not. Tell them you have 1000's of Dis's following this thread that spend thousand of dollars in their stores

Good luck, I know when went to my son's first NICU reunion it was special and I look forward to number 2.

a "premie" reunion?! Wow! That must be awesome. Chris was at the 97th US Army hospital in Frankfurt, W. Germany. I always wondered how the doctors/nurses/parents and children faired but no way of knowing. I think the reunion is an awesome idea!

Is an annual event the staff as well as former patients look forward to. We send out invitations to the 400+ families who had a baby in the unit the preceding year, then place an ad in the paper inviting all other grads.
Parents know to look for it, plus we hold it on the same weekend every year
The planning committee gets so much done with a small budget. Last year over 500 guests were present fpr our tropical themed party! It was great

nicurn - Thank you for the wonderful job that you do with the premies and parents - I did thank all the staff at the NICU where my son was born, but to have a child survive that early - there will never be enough appreciation to those who work so faithfully and diligently to give our children life.

I work with some of the most dedicated people I know. We truly love taking care of these babies
It's good to know your son is doing well. That many years ago 28 wks. was tiny. 23 wk. infants routinely make it now (not all without some problems-but new work is being done all the time)

Loretta - 23 weeks? Oh my world! Chris was only 15 inches long! And his foot was the length of my pinkie! I can't imagine how much smaller a baby born 5 weeks sooner would be.
