OT but just have to share!!!

Oh my gosh- I just have to share with you all how my day went!!

I had heard that new codes were coming out today for the period we would be at wdw-so I was up at 6am and on the computer!!

I was able to book us into All Star Sport instead of All Star Movies-at a savings,was also able to get a savings on our POFQ ressie!!

In total saved over 200.00 Canadian.

Then I start reading about the discounts available at AKL-well let me tell how badly I have always wanted to stay there.

Met DH for lunch and we discussed it-decided if I could get a really good rate we would stay there instead of POFQ!!!!!

So we dashed home from work and got on the phone with CRO and they had the discount available!!

YOU GUYS-I GET TO STAY AT AKL!!

Tee hee hee-I am so happy!

We will now be at Sports from Nov 7-14 and AKL from Nov 15-18!!

I could not keep Movies as no discount for them.

Well guess I better go and update the bottom of my post!!

We stayed at AKL part of our trip last Christmas. Just so you know the rooms are very dark. I would stay there again but, my absolute favorite is the Wilderness Lodge.

Thanks guys! I am really looking forward to staying there! I love the deep colors,the browns ect of the resort and the theming. I think that ds will love the pool! I think I will love it! Ohhh I can't wait-only 106 days to go!

Grover - we did exactly this on our last vacation, I managed to get a code, and we spent the last 3 days of our trip at AKL. I would agree with crazyforpooh, the rooms are dark - I don't mean the colors particularly, but they could use better lighting, but saying that, it didn't affect our trip one little bit - we just loved the resort, the view (how amazing to see giraffes first thing in the morning, and last thing at night), the pool was great, and you have got to try Boma's and Jiko - 2 very different restaurants and both superb.

I saw those new codes come out yesterday - I so wish I had another trip booked, those are amazing rates, I could almost justify a couple of nights at the Boardwalk (my dream hotel)
