Lisa-- Congrats! That is wonderful. So, if you had it to do over again would you go drug-free The aneths. dr didn't show up in time with my first. I recall there was a lot of screaming going on in the hospital. I'm not exactly sure by whom

I probably would..but I will NEVER go to term again!!!!

If there is a baby #4 (notice the "if" and not the "when" )...37 weeks...start the induction. (Baby #2 was 9lbs 6oz and there was no evidence to suggest we'd have a baby that size none the less a pound and a half bigger.)


Surprisingly---healing is much improved with each pregancy and this is still MUCH easier than my recovery from my first who was less than 7 pounds.

I went drug-free with both of mine (although they weren't anywhere near 11 lbs!!!) and I absolutely would do it again although it was quite difficult.

I went into labor with both of mine on their due dates but my labors were so long that they were both born the next day

Hope all is well now that you are home and adjusting!

Lisa that is just wonderful. Congrats on such a beautiful...er, I mean handsome, baby.

I was drug free with both of mine, but not by choice. 1st DD came in 2 hours, 2nd DD in 1 hour (I was getting ready to do a show when I went into labor). Mine weren't nearly as big as yours though...WOW!
