OT: Bell, Telus to charge for INcoming Test Mesages!

You know--we have the 'Family Plan' with Bell...4 cell phones all this free and that free and yet the bill still manages to push in excess of $250 per month? How is that with all that freeee?????

I get you with that....we have 3 phones and it pushes 200.00/month. The odd time more if someone uses too much time.

To be honest, I have been with Rogers, Bell and now have been with Telus for a few years as are the other phones that we have and in reality, Telus is probably the best service etc. that we have had. It is unfortunate that they are changing their charges on the texting, both our kids have unlimited, but mine doesn't and my kids text me all the time. With the amount of money we spend, that is ridiculous that now I am going to have to pay.

There really is no way around this, except to head to another carrier, like back to Rogers who will probably turn around and do the same thing at a later date.....AGGH!

Sometime this fall all the major cell phone companies in the US are coming to Canada so there is going to be a lot of competition and theres also gonna be better rates which is probably going to have a huge impact on Bell and Telus so hopefully they will change this stupid money grab.
