This is off topic, but I'm looking for any ideas for a Batman birthday party for my DS who will be 6. I have the Batman cricut cartridge, but I'm looking for activities (possibly using that) that will entertain a bunch of kids.

I'm just really struggling with this for some reason. I feel like I'm stuck in a rut with my birthday party ideas.

Any ideas are appreciated!

We had DS's Batman/DC Super Friends birthday party last year before the cricut cart came out (boy was I mad when that cart came out!). Anyway for games we did:

Lex Luthor splash: The kids pretended they were Aquaman and used splashballs to soak Lex Luthor (I drew him on a poster board, but you could easily print out a picture.)

Green Lantern Ring Hunt: I hid green ring pops all around the party area before the party and the kids had to search to find their green ring. I told the kids to come back after they found on ring.

Superman's Kryptonite Toss: I painted ping pong balls bright colors and labeled buckets with different planets and the kids had to toss the balls into the buckets (think the Bozo grand prize game, for those of you mid-westerners in the 30s age range :goodvibes)

Follow Flash: One kid was Flash and the others had to following him (just follow the leader)

Bouncin Batcave: We had a big bounce house that we labeled the Batcave and the kids go to bounce away.

If you need need more help or ideas let me know. :goodvibes

Thank you for the ideas those are great! Also most of your ideas can be used inside or out, which is important because I'm not sure what the weather will be like.

I really like the Green Lantern ring search. My DS loves those ring pops so he will love it.

Did the kids really like the bounce house? I would like to rent one, but my DH doesn't think it is worth the money. (It is kind of expensive, just think of the scrapbook supplies I could buy :rotfl:)

Most important, do you mind if I completely steal your ideas?

First, steal all the ideas that you like! :thumbsup2 The bouncehouse was a big hit. We left it up for the entire party and the "after-party" and the kids loved it. We did not have to rent it though. A friend let us borrow her commercial grade one. For favors I found a DC Superfriends logo and some of the great gals over on the DIS Disigns board customized it. (So it said, "Paige is a super friend.") Then I printed and ironed them onto t-shirts that I got on super sale at M's. it was a great favor, they have lasted and I got lots of compliments for not handing out the little bags of junk. To get into the spirit everyone in our immediate family got shirts too (Bat Momma, Bat Daddy, Bat Nanny, etc. with the Batman logo). It was a great time! :goodvibes

What a great idea with the T-shirts for party favors! It is close to Halloween and all the candy that entails and the little toys that you get usually break.

I am thinking of doing a T-shirt with a bat on it. Something simple, but that reminds them of the party.

Thank you so much for your ideas. :worship: I don't know why I have been so stumped. Usually I can think up party ideas pretty easily.

Oooh, we made iron on vinyl t-shirts with the Cricut last weekend. You could use the batman symbol and cut it out with your Cricut! It's SO easy!
