OT-Are there any "real" work at home jobs?

I wanna make money working at home, but I'm looking for something that requires minimal to no money. Something that is not a scam. No MLM, no pyramid scheme. I'm getting frustrated by all the jobs that promise to be real, but aren't........

There were a few threads about this a while back. Try the search feature when you have a few minutes - it seems to take a while at least on my PC. A few things that I think I remember being discussed were companies that had you taking their customer service calls at home and merchandising where you would go into stores and restock cards or cosmetics (I know this one is not "at home" but it sounded like you could set your own hours). Also, I know of people who do medical transcription (you might need to go to school for this), accounting/bookkeeping/billing (school again probably), freelance writing/editing and daycare. I've tried the survey stuff and made NOTHING, I do know that the merchandising stuff is for real and you do set your own hours usually. You might want to try snagajob.com for jobs like these. I'd be interested in learning about taking customer service calls for companies myself... for a little extra disney money... I work in Direct Sales selling candles at home shows. Lots of fun and great money, again, I set my own hours and get a little time with the girls while daddy has bonding time with the kiddies DS might be an option but do your research!

I actually am working for one of the companies taking calls for infomercials - I found it through this old thread. I've been doing it since February and am really happy with the extra money! I don't know if the companies are still hiring, but feel free to PM me and I'll answer any questions you have!

I too work for this company when I want to. I have enjoyed doing it off and on since I signed up back in Feb only because of the tremendous flexibility. I have not worked very much but flexibility is unmatched. I would not say it is my favorite job but being able to go in my office at home and close the door for 30 mins and 1 hour is great. I don't get dress on the weekends my kids know not to come to my closed door, because mommy is working and will be out shortly. I usually work early morning 6:30am when they are still sleeping. I used it to pay for extras I might want. The money is no windfall and it is not a "payrate" by the hour but it all adds up.

Today is my first day working at home for an accts payable data entry job. My sister has worked at home for them for 6 years now so it's legit. I did have to go to the office Mon-Fri for 2 months, 5 hours a day for training, but it's worth it in the end. I'm in Cols Ohio area, not sure where else the company has WAH positions, maybe St Louis??, but I do know they are a national co. PM me if you want their website. Good luck!!

They are non-pyramid at home call center jobs for inbound telemarketing. You simply place orders for people calling in.
