OT anyone's kids have a ripstick?

have never seen these things but than again down here in south fla- we have lots of skateboard parks so that might be part of it. It looks cool but my kids are so into their razors and trying to learn out to use a skateboard..

CindyB, where are you located?

On the south side of Chicago, "skateboards" are generally viewed as druggies. The kids who use the ripsticks are kids that don't want to be associated with the skaters. My DS14 has a ripstick as uses it daily.

Northeast.

The skateboarders here are the more athletic ones while the "jocks" are the druggies.

Weird, isn't it?

Either way ripsticks are considered babyish in this area.
