OT - Anyone seen a "Sarge" toy from Cars?

We have a neighbor boy that is dying for one and I'd love to find one for my birthday, but I haven't seen one anywhere. I guess because he didn't have that big of a role they don't have anything with him. The only thing I've seen is a design your own shirt at the Disney online store. Not really his thing though. So if anyone knows of one anywhere, please let me know.

I haven't seen the movie yet but as soon as I know what he looks like, I will keep an eye out at our local stores.

He is impossible to get! Unless you want to spend $30 for a $3 car!!LOL That's what they are selling for on Ebay.(the cars that are similar to the matchbox type) I have looked high and low for one, have family members looking too! We've covered 3 counties and I can't tell you how many stores! I have been able to find all the others, even Lizzie, but Sarge has proven to be so hard to find. Believe me if I find them I'm buying them all!!!LOL I'll let you know if I get lucky and hopefully the'll be more then one! When did you need it by?

I have a friend who is looking for Sarge and Chick for his DGS. He has people looking in 4 states but has not had any luck yet! It's funny that these two would be in such short supply. I wonder if they will make more?

His party is on the 1st, but his mom told me if I find one get it, no matter what it cost. Of course I'll take that with a grain of salt because I'm not sure if she'll want to mortgage the house or anything! LOL

Is that all they came in is the matchbox cars?

By the was for those that don't know Sarge is the Jeep.

keep checking.. I found sarge at 2 walmarts yesterday.

Sarge does not come in every case that a store gets.. that is why he is hard to find.

I found Sarge, Lizzie, Lightening McQueen as the blue Dinoco car, Sheriff, Fillmore, Sally and Chick at Walmart yesterday for $3.18. I bought the last Sarge, Chick and Fillmore. I can't find a Ramone except for the pullback kind.

Don't give up! There are still some out there!

My neighbor talked to someone who used to do merchandising for the company. She said each case has ONE Lizzy and one Sarge. So unless you are there when they are unloading the boxes you are out of luck! Three of us in the neighborhood are collecting the cars for the kids and those are the last 2 we all need. I was even at the store while they just finished unloading the boxes and didn't get them. Someone must have just beat me!

Being highly addicted to both Disney and Jeeps myself and my Jeep club have been "up in arms" trying to find the Sarge toys. It is not even one of the vehicles in the Mcdonalds meals. I couldn't even find him AT disney world 3 weeks ago. I am going again in a week and a half and I assure you it will be at the top of my list to find.

We live in a small town and cars hasn't been here yet. We drove two hours to see it the week it came out. So if there is some I will get them. people have only been buying mater here becouse they know who he is. I likes the movie and will see it here at the drive in when it comes. Yes that is how far away from the real world were we live. We have one of the very last drive inns in our state. Anyway I'll look. Mum

I love CARS. But, why is SARGE so saught after? He was good, but I don't get the mass appeal. I, frankly, love them all.

I know why my neighbor wants it for her kid because they have a jeep and her husband is a Sargeant in the Police Department here....or how ever you spell that! LOL But not sure why everyone else does...I guess maybe people want the complete set and it's just hard to find.

We've been to McDonald's a couple of times but no one has Mater. We want it for the other cars so he can tow them. If anyone has an extra I'll pay to have it shipped.

At BJ's they have 6 packs of the cars for $15.99 (or so). My BJ's had 2 different kinds of 6 packs. One of them has Sarge, Fillmore, Lightning, the King, Chick, and Lizzy.


Maybe you could try there?

I was wondering who had the 6 pack. I tried costco today.

Those are the exact 2 sets (the one listed "Sarge and Lizzie" and the one listed "Blue Mater") that I got at BJ's.

I am trying to decide if I want to open them to use as potty training rewards for my DS, or keep them in the box and fund his college education.

I looked at walmart today for the jeep and they only had lightning and one little yellow car. that was it for the diecasts. sorry.
