I have been shopping through ABC Dist. for a few years now and have always loved them. I have gotten most of my DS's Xmas presents(as well as friends and family) for excellent prices and the gifts have been very well liked. I've always paid on time and had no problem with them whatsoever...until last week.
When I received the bill, I immediately called in and paid by phone. The operator seemed boggled and I had to keep repeating the CC # and all the information to her. I even had to correct her in that since it was a CC # it obviously was not a CHECK(she kept trying to put it in as that.) The next day, I received a call that if I had used my CC to please call ASAP. So I started calling and calling and calling some more getting nowhere but voicemails and ppl telling me they would send a message to the person handling my account. This morning,I receive a call about my bill being PAST DUE and did I want to make a payment!!!
I finally got through to my representative who cannot find any record of it being paid and doesn't understand why it didn't go through. She isn't even sure what would have made them call about it. She swears up and down that they cannot access the CC # once it has been put in,but that she is making a note about this. So far, nothign has shown up on my statements, but I am VERY concerned. The thought that my bank info is out there somewhere does not bode well with me and DH is going to be livid.
Has anyone else had any problems with ABC or had an experience like this with ANY company? I'd love a little reassurance at this point
