OT: Always offline?

Ok, I've got a question that I'm sure Mal, Lori, or Kelsie could answer, but anyone who knows the answer is welcome to post. Why, even when we are online, does it say "offline" in our profile? I'm assuming it has something to do with saftey/security, as it seems the admins have disabled the members list.

That is because some people set their option to show offline at all times.

You can do it yourself.

Go to User CP. Then on left hand side click on Edit Options.
Then you will see at the top the Invisible Mode option. To make yourself appear offline even when you are logged in, select Use Invisible Mode.

To show when you are online, make sure the option is unchecked.

I'm not set on invisible mode, so it must be something else. My little button is green, but when I go to my public profile, it says "Last Activity: xxxx, Offline". On other forums it usually says "Last Activity: xxxx, Viewing Thread: xxxx" or something when you are online.

Any of the mods know about this?

I think it's because are servers are to crowded and the admin has disabled all the unnessicary things, that is one of them. But you can tell comeone is online or offline by the dot down there. It's either green or gray
