Every man needs an occasional break from his wife and kids. And when you have sextuplets, twins and a wife like Kate Gosselin, odds are you really need some time off. Reality TV dad Jon Gosselin apparently agrees. According to Star Magazine, the "Jon and Kate Plus 8" star was recently seen partying with some college cuties.

Gosselin, 31, reportedly showed up -- uninvited -- at a bash thrown by Juniata College seniors Erin Albert and Mariel Little last month, and played beer pong with members of the women's volleyball team. Juniata is in Huntingdon, PA, where Gosselin's mom lives.

So this is kind of like being in back in college, except for the part about how he's married and has eight kids. And has a television show about his life.

What to make of this? On the one hand, partying with a group of female college athletes is an incredibly stupid thing for a 31-year-old man to do, regardless of who he is. But Jon Gosselin is a fairly famous guy -- even more so in the town where his family lives. To expect that no one was going to notice him wandering into this party, and picking up a ping-pong paddle, is totally naive. Dude!

On the other hand, maybe the guy just needed to get out and blow off some steam. My husband goes to happy hour about once a month, just to unwind and have a break from work and home. Of course, he's usually out with other guys from the office, not playing drinking games with 20-year-old college coeds. But the idea is the same. Or not.

I'm all for having a night out, but with the guys, not hanging out with collage girls or other women. I think that it crosses a line.

My DH and I know someone that does this pretty regularly, and cannot figure out what is going through his head! He volunteers at the college, so that's why he is there, but then takes the opportunity to attend one of the student's parties, events, etc...It's definitely going to get him in trouble one day.

I read this too. Hilarious! I'd need a break from that life too. But..... co-eds at 31 years old might not be a good idea. Esoecially when you're on a nationally televised tv show with your ocd wife. Good luck John... you're gonna need it

This article is hilarious. Apparently the writer didn't bother to look up what beer pong was and stated that he picked up ping pong paddles!
