Just wanted to get everyone to cross their fingers for us. We were interviewed today to adopt one of the dalmatians from the musical! The last performance was yesterday in New York because they ended the play early. It never made it out West so we never got to see it.
We applied last year and were contacted this past Thursday for a interview. Since we were at Disneyland it had to be done today.
The interview went well and the lady really liked us! We have had dalmatians in the past so we know what we are in for. :) She said one question she has to answer is: would you leave your dalmatian with this family if you went out of town? The answer was YES!!!! :woohoo:
So cross those fingers and spread some pixie dust our way.

*crosses fingers*

my first (and only so far) dog was a dalmatian- I know how amazing they can be :) I hope you get to adopt one of those little darlings!

:wizard: Pixie dust sent your way. I have always had dalmatians and they are great dogs!

your crossed fingers and paws worked! :thumbsup2 Oh and can't forget the pixie dust....

Our adoption was approved!!!! :cool1::cool1:

Now we just have to wait to see if we get one from the musical. They don't know how many are available yet. I also don't know how many have been approved that requested a dog.

So I guess we still need to keep them crossed...

the wait begins......:rolleyes1

Congratulations!

Sad news...:sad2:
Didn't get a dog...
Got the email this morning.
Seems over 60 applied for the dogs and they approved 23 after the home study. We were approved but there were only 6 dogs available for adoption. The other dogs in the show all went to cast and crew members or stayed with the trainer to do a show at Sea World in Orlando.
So for now we will remain dog less....

Aw I am sorry. I am sure the right dog will come along and find your family soon.
