Osbourne Lights NOT showing this year

We all sent e-mails, Have anyone else received this letter? I know I didn't even get the letter asking for my phone number, mine just said they will look into this matter and get back to me. If anyone on these boards received this letter please let us know. Thanks, Gina

I am truely disappointed, however I'm not going to alter my plans because of it......I'll probably stroll thru MGM sighing pitifully though....

As I said earlier in this thread, this won't affect me in the least. Actually it may make touring easier.

Disney World just call me and its offical there will be
no Osborne lights this year but there will be specials
in the Park.I can't wait to go I love WDW at xmas time

Disney should find a spot somewhere in the world for those lights this year. Maybe along the Boardwalk.

Funhouse8, yes I received the same email. I sent them my phone numbers (3 of them!) but haven't heard back from them yet. If I do I will post something here to let everyone know. Of course, I certainly don't think that my email will be the one to change their minds, but you never know . . .

Oh, I still plan on going to the other parks, and we have tickets already for MVMCP, but the only reason I was going to go to MGM this year was specifically to see the lights.

Since they aren't having them, I think the kids would enjoy the Macy's balloons more than MGM without the lights.
