I understand that there is special night for AP passholders to view the Osbourne Light show. Does anyone know what night this is ? :confused3
I just received my AP voucher in the mail but am unable to access the AP website. We will be at Disney 11/19-11/26 so I hope it is during our visit.

Thanks for your help !! :wave2:

I am unsure about the AP thing not having one myself, but according to the official WDW website Osbourne lights start 14/11/2005.
hope this helps, we will be there from that date and are looking forward to seeing them. :wave2:

When I found this out I was SO excited. This is just topping on the cake. We went last year in December and saw the Osbourne lights for the first time and going November 10-17, I thought we'd just miss all the Christmas things. What a magical surprise to start out my Christmas holiday season. :goodvibes

There seem to be conflicting reports about whether or not there was even an AP preview last year-someone said they went, someone else said there wasn't one. But here's what happened to me in 2003. I really wanted to go to this, but saw nothing advertised. Soo-about a month beforehand, I called and was told there wasn't going to be one. I was so disappointed, but I went anyways, just in case. Thank goodness, the CM I'd spoken with was misinformed. However, although in previous years, they'd allowed 1 guest per passholder (which is nice if you're in a family where one spouse has one and the other spouse doesn't-our situation), in 2003, they only allowed the passholder to participate. That was the last year that the lights were so big. Now that they're in a smaller location, I wonder if they've discontinued it. I'd be interested to know!

We have been to Disney World the last two years in December. Last year the lights were in their new location near the New York Set at MGM. There were definitely all the way around a whole block. The year before, the light display had been cancelled much to the disappointment of all going that year, because of the switch from the old location to the new. They were definitely not there that year. According to the information I have read so far, here on the DIS and from people that noted it on the Disney website, the lights will begin November 14 this year. I'm really not sure what lights you saw??? Could it have been 2002??? There was allot of disappointment around here in 2003 when they canceled them for a year and they were not there the first week in December when we were there that year, and looked to me like they were building the set.

They have moved the lights back to where they were in 2003 not 2004.
Now I'm confused. It's not going to be on the streets of NY again? IT's back in the neighborhoods? I thought those were "trashed" for the Paris Stunt show. ????? :confused3

Woops! I think you're right, I think it was 2002. I know I was staying at the brand new BCV. So what year did those open? That's the last year I remember a preview of the Osborne Lights for AP holders. But I do agree with the question, where are they this year? I also thought the lights were going to be in the New York Street location, that with the Stunt Show, there was no possibility of them moving back to where they were.

I'm just guessing, but I would think that they would be where they were last year and that's by the New York Set, kind of right in front of the new show. We entered right by the Muppets.

They are already busy placing them on NY street.

BTW, you can access the AP website with a voucher--there is an excellent description of how to enter the numbers, etc on Mousesavers website. I did it last month several times.
