Does anybody know when MGM will have the Osborne Lights this year?
We are going to WDW around Thanksgiving and hope to see them.

The last two trips DW and I have made, we arrived the day after Thanksgiving, and they have always been up then. If you've never seen them, you have to. They're beautiful. Good luck!

Please don't listen to any threads that tell you "they're not worth it; they were so much better way back when".

We went to the Osborne Lights for the first time last year (2004) and LOVED them. Our DD (5) couldn't get enough of them.

I really enjoyed walking through the "neighborhoods" when we last went to Disney World in December 2000, when the Osborne Lights were spread out along the yards and house (fronts) there. I know that this area was torn down to make room for Lights! Motors! Action!, and the Osborne Lights have been more consolidated into a smaller area. But, I'm ready to go with an open mind this December, and enjoy them however they are displayed. We had a unique experience five years ago, but I'm sure it won't stop us from oohing and aahing again this year.

You HAVE to see this if you can. IMO one of the best WDW seasonal must see attractions You won't be disappointed! :goodvibes

I really do love the osborne lights, but I really don't care for the new location for them. They are way to compated to enjoy them. They have an extremely restricted traffic flow so it is really hard to stop and enjoy the lights. I also enjoyed the lighting that they did on residential street. On the avenue that they are on, if you go to watch the lighting ceremony, you are in the middle of the lights you watch them come on and then you have to finish going through and then turn back around and see them a second time so you can see the beginning of the roadways.
