Hello! Back in the day we would go to the passholder preview for the Osborne lights at MGM. It's been ages since we went to it, I think it was 2001 or so, but my mom started talking about it this year. I tried looking up something about it but couldn't find anything. I just figured that it went the same was as Residential Street, as in GONE. She wanted me to ask on here to be sure, so can someone verify for me whether they still have it or not? Thanks!!!

Also, in my research I found an article from 2002 talking about a Passholder VIP area in The Seas pavilion. I had never heard of it before but was wondering if that was still around. The article made it sound like it was brand new in 2002, so if it's gone now it sure didn't stick around for too long.

That is so funny...just this morning my DH asked if they might be doing "testing" of Osbourne Lights while we are at WDW the last week of October...
I'm really missing the holidays at WDW. DMIL always wants to go in Oct because her birthday is in Oct. I don't know why I give in to her everytime...especially since it is my DVC points that pay for the rooms. Oh, well. No more Oct. trips for us, November for holidays or September for deals.

We don't have an AP, but I am really hoping for a soft opening while we are there. We will be there until November 24th. If they had kept with a schedule similar to last year's, they would have started much earlier, and we would have seen them for sure.

I can not help you with your question about the passholder preview, but I know that there used to be AP VIP areas in each of the parks, but they are no longer there.
