Orlando Stroller Rental question

Sorry to post another stroller thread, but I can't find the answer to my question in the other ones.

My kids are 6 & 4, but we will still definitely need to rent a stroller. my ds-4 is not much of a walker and even my ds-6 will get in the stroller sometimes. I've pretty much decided on renting from orlando stroller rentals, the double jogger looks great, and it will cost $85 vs. $185 for a disney one.

my two concerns are: I've heard of strollers going missing, has anyone had a problem with a stroller from orlando stroller rentals going missing? what would I do if it did? would I have to pay for the stroller and how would I get another one for the rest of the trip?

also, how much of a hassle is it on the buses? It looks like it folds up easily from the website, but is it worth the extra money for the disney one to just be able to walk away from it at the end of the day?

It is very well marked---if someone did not know the stroller-they may not be able to fold it up. It was not a problem for us at all on the buses. It was the easiest and best thing we have ever done---we are renting from them again in June.

I asked the exact same question about the stroller getting stolen. Shannon said she's never had that experience yet and didn't feel like it was a big risk. Second, the double stroller is a dream getting on buses! It folded really easily, was pretty light and we'd just hold it in front of our feeton the bus. With that said, we were there when it wasn't terribly crowded, so we weren't dealing with a lot of people standing up on the bus. But if we had, we would have just held it as closely to our feet as possible. It folds pretty thin.

Hope that helps! We were extremely satisified with the stroller, the customer service and the price vs. Disney strollers. I will rent from them again without hesitation.

Thanks for the replies! I'm going to go for it, I think all the stroller stolen threads just have me paranoid! I'm excited to try it out, it looks so much nicer than the double maclaren I have at home (which is 5 years old, so it's kind of a mess)

Hve you noticed what brand of strollers get stolen? It's the "you paid too much" maclarens and other swanky brands, often with nice bags in the bottom. Not your average run of the mill strollers.

You should be fine.
