In all the times I've been to Orlando, I've never been to Orlando Premium Outlets on Vineland Avenue, how is it - good bargains to be had?, I've seen the list of shops and it's very impressive.

We normally visit the Orlando Mall and Beltz and it's time for something different.

its a great outlet place.

We have our favorite shops.. we are not into the designer stuff - but there really is something for everyone.. and a great thing to do on a cloudy or rainy day!

I agree, you dont have to go for the designer stuff. We went mainly for all the sports wear. We got reeboks trainers there, you buy 1 get 2nd half price and the 3rd free. Brilliant scetchers shop we bought 2 scetchers sandles and 2 trainers for $103, amazing! I found the lake beuna vista shops better for casual clothes,ladies clothes,and kids clothes. They have a brilliant shop there called Old Navy.

Whilst I do agree that Premium Outlets is the best - by far - for discount shopping we have found it can be a bit hit and miss.
Remember all the items on sale are what the bigger stores originally couldn't sell.

Sportswear is probably the best buy with the Nike and Adidas stores.

You sure about that? So when I go to Tommy Hilfigers to pick up my usual quota of jeans, they will be jeans the bigger stores couldn't sell? Hillfiger jeans are they same where ever you buy them - depending on the style

Yes Michelle - I stock up on Clinique there every trip. Excellent value compared to prices at home.

We thought it was great the first few (hundred ) times we went, but we seem to find less and less to interest us each time we go. In fact, the last few trips we haven't been at all (the Mall at Millenia is my current favourite).

It's a smart, clean (outdoor) "mall" along the lines of several in this country (Bicester Shopping Village springs to mind - they have several of the same stores).

Don't go with your expectations too high - as JohnnySharp2 says, it can be a bit hit and miss. I've bought sunglasses there a couple of times, but just because they were what I wanted - they didn't seem to be discounted. If you're in the market for Tod's shoes or handbags, you can definitely get some huge discounts - I've bought a pair of their signature driving shoes for $85 (I think the full retail price was $400+) and their "Eight" bag for 75% off the $1800 retail price. I wouldn't go as far as to say they stock the entire range, but they certainly seem to have a selection of the latest designs and they don't appear to be seconds.

In the past we've bought Timberlands for less than $30 - great value for well-made leather shoes, I think!

Some of the stores are fitted out and display the merchandise in the same way as a proper retail store; others are no frills (many have concrete floors) and resemble a jumble sale.

All in all, well worth a visit.
