Easter for UK next year is Good Friday-April 10th.In the US there Spring Break's are always around the 2 weeks before Easter+the 2weeks after.
Can't help with the hotel you mention, but we love staying on I-Drive but more so towards the South end,it's a little quieter. We have previously stayed at the Holiday Inn+Quality Inn.Although not in the location we prefer to be in now, these are good hotels, right in the heart of I-Drive.Although i prefer Holiday Inn just that little bit more.Ask any questions about them if you have any:thumbsup2 .
Easter is ALWAYS a busy time to go,but i don't believe it's as busy as Christmas. As long as you get to the parks for rope drop+hit the big+main rides first+use fastpass i reckon you will do good :thumbsup2 .(how many of you are there-as you mentioned a suite is this what you would prefer?)
Were flying on the 1st Apr so my girls will be missing 3 days of school as our girls break up on the 3rd Apr.To go on the 3rd would have been an extra £800 :scared1: .

Hi,

We go on the 7th April.

Feel the parks will be busy, especially Easter weekend but if you get there early you should be ok for a couple of hours or so - we always leave before lunch and hopefully return in the evening (providing we can get our son out of the pool at the villa!).

Stayed at the Rosen Center on 2 occasions many years ago, fabulous hotel and at the nicer end of I drive.
(my husband doesn't like the busier end, he says it's 'tacky'). :)

We also going 26th March for 16 days so will be there teh 1st week of UK Easter hols. Our flights were £415 per adult - which rocketed up to £1000 for Easter 2 weeks - shocking I know but I suppose its supply and demand. We are lucky that our 6yr old's headmaster is of the view that holidays are a great weay to broaden kids horizons and has no problem with taking DS out during term time for 1 week only - he has an excellant attendance record the rest of the year. However as he gets older we too will have to to be exploited and go in school holiday time onlt:eek:

i had planned to travel 26th too, and just called travel agent and the flights have shot up another £200 in the past 24hrs.

means we will have to travel 25th now, just waiting for annual leave to be okd

Hope they ok it pretty soon for you,the prices constantly change all the time-Good Luck.x.

As for flight prices i booked on 27th Dec 07 for Easter Hols, mine+dh flydrive was £473 each, girls was £279 each. When the new Virgin brochure came out this year i repriced the holiday+the flights alone(as our suite is accomadation only)were over £2,700 for the 4 of us.About an extra £1,300.x.

p.s. Hi Julie, great of you to join up.x.

The Homewood Suites gets consistently great reviews so I think i'd choose there. We stayed at the Sheraton Studio City which is also nice.. The location was great for us (probably on what is seen as the tackier end of I-drive which i'd tend to agree with but the hotel and it's immediate surroundings weren't like this at all) as we didn't have a car. We were near both the Lynx and I-ride trolley stops and the hotel provided free shuttles to all the parks.
