Just wondering...do many people use the Orlando Magiccard when visiting the area ?

Had someone pop in today who wanted to use it and I was intrigued.

Up until this year I found the card useless but now they seem to gave some really good deals on it. I posted earlier that I went to the Samba Room on Sandlake Rd and they took 5.00 off each entree. It is a really nice restaurant and I was very surprised. I also went to Timpani on Sandlake Road and they gave a free appitizer value about 10.00. I used it at Hard Rock and got 5.00 off when I spent 25. I think I used it somewhere else but cannot remember. I totaled what I saved and it was about 50.00 just for using the card in places I would have gone anyway. NOt bad!
I THINK that they are trying to make it more popular and then they will begin to charge a fee but heck it is free now.

Thanks for that feedback.....I'm pondering it ! I've watched it over the last 5 years and not been that impressed but last year more companies from our sector became involved. I was curious as to why and still haven't found out the reason.

From a supplier point of view it costs a minimum $ 705 to be involved plus the discount you have to give.....sounds like buying business to me but I'm open to persuasion !

If it is something that is going to work then I'm all for it. Have to say, I can't see them charging for it in the next 2-3 years.
