I'll be there next week and I was wondering where is the closest (and easiest) place to get to from WDW to get a case of bottled water and some Pediasure for my DD. I'll be staying at POFQ and I'll have a rental car. Thanks!

I would have put Cheetos and Hershey's on my list of things to get, but I hear Kevin wiped all the local supplies out. :rotfl:

I would head down to Wal-Mart on 535. It's only a few miles away and possibly the easiest place to get besides Crossroads but prices there will be higher.

If you are driving down SR 417 to get to the resrot, get off at Orange Grove and turn right. There is a huge Albertsons about a block north of the toll road and the prices are normal neighborhood prices with good weekly sales. You don't need a club card there, either. (For those of you saying "What?", Albertson's out here on the West Coast require a "club card" to get the weekly sale prices, instead of using normal discounted prices.) They also don't close down before 10pm. They are 24 hours. That way, no matter what time you land, you can stop in and pick up your stuff on the way.

Also, if you are heading towards Disney on the 417 and get off at OBT (Orange Blossom Trail), you have to turn LEFT at the bottom of the ramp to get to Albertson's.

Do you mean Orange Blosson Trail?

Uh, yep - I knew I should have went to Streets and Trips, but I was just so sure. That's the problem with living out here in Los Angeles. The Orange County streets have a lot of the same names as the ones in FL near WDW. Conincidence, I think not.... Easy to keep them completely straight.... I think not!:lmao:

Thank you for your kind correction!
