Hi,

My family and I are travelling out to Orlando on 17th June 2005 for two weeks. It is our fourth trip, but first time that we have gone during school holidays. Could anyone let me know how busy the main parks are and how hot/wet the weather really is.

Thanks

Kelly

Hi there, cant really comment on late june, but we always go mid May to early june. Compared to summer holidays/easter/christmas, the time you are going is a great time to go!!.
weather is excellent, hardly any rain, and temperatures in the high 80's early 90's, we love this time of year.

Weather wise very hot, with storms every afternoon, some days there isnt any but you do kinda pray for a little rain,to cool off with although it soon dries up and the sun is shining again.
Parks have always been busy due to florida holidays, etc.

You'll have a wonderful time

I've been early to mid-June and in early mid- July before. The experience I had was it went up with each passing week - bear in mind you'll be there before the schools in the UK are off so you should be okay - take on board many of the tips from DIS and you shouldn't find the crowds a problem. Plan well, use fastpass, get there early and hit the biggies first!

Thanks for all the responses to date. We are staying at the Quality Inn Plaza and are bringing our parents for their first time. I hope they enjoy it - they usually have a beach holiday in Continental Europe and we are a bit aprpehensive as we want them to have as good a time as we know we will have.

Thanks

Kelly

Many many years since we went in June.
It will be hot for certain, in the 90s probably.

Whilst the theme parks will be very busy, there are ceratinly busier times than June.
So I think your main issue will be the hot weather, having said that we are going in August when if anything it will be hotter still.

i went on the same date as you last year!
Crowds were ok first week, second week was busy because of british tourists and july 4th celebrations.
Weatherwise it was very hot, some days we had rain in the afternoon, but it stopped pretty quickly.
You'll have a great time i'm sure, just make sure you take a few time outs between the parks! :teeth:

Were going the 10th of june for 3 weeks. The 3rd week will be spent on the gulf coast :cheer2: So the 1st 2 weeks will be spent in the parks :Pinkbounc
