Any recommendations... I read one post and people said they had heard bad things about ABBF. Which have you used for crib rentals? Thanks!

I just posted this answer for another question about cribs:

We have rented a crib from Orlando Crib Rentals twice now and have been very happy. however you do have to be in your room to have them drop off and pick up the crib. Lisa, the owner is very nice and they are also very prompt and quick setting up the crib.

Another Disboard mom confirmed for me that now ABBF has the fold up cribs which are much easier to assemble so I think I'm going to give them a try this October so we won't have to wait in our room for the crib to be delivered. We can have it delivered to bell services.

I've heard the same thing about ABBF, but then I've heard good things too!

The majority of what I have read here on these boards about both companies has been excellent. Bad reviews from either are few and far between. I also frequent other boards and it is the same. We are using ABBF in September. The reason I chose them is because of the good reviews and that they leave the equipment with bell services (and you return it their too). I do not want to wait in the room for someone to deliver and to pick up. I also prefer the wooden cribs over metal as it is what my boys are used to sleeping in.

We travel to WDW frequently and I have seen plenty of strollers rented from kingdom. They always appear clean and like new. We don't need to rent so I don't have a lot of experience is this area. I will say that ABBF rents the citi mini and the double for by far less than any other I have seen. So that may be another option for you as well.

Thanks everyone! I went with ABBF. Seems like they have a lot of good reviews on here!

We used ABBF for both a crib & a toddler bed (different trips). Both times the items were in good condition and were very easy to assemble & take apart.

My only issue with the crib was that the detergent they used for the linens was heavily scented and my DD is sensitive to scents so we couldn't use the sheets, but we had brought our own as a back-up so it worked out ok. When we rented the toddler bed, I asked for linens washed in unscented detergent and they accommodated the request.

I think you made a good choice going with ABBF OP. I would definitely recommend them.

We've rented from ABBF on at least three or four occasions. Nothing but positive things to say about their service. Crib is wooden, full size, super easy to assemble, and looks more or less like what you'd see at home. It's always been at Bell Services when we arrive (usually by midday), and we're not required to wait around in the room for someone to deliver it or pick it up. I don't get their linens as I'd rather my kids have the detergent they are familiar with, so I just stick a couple of crib sheets and a mattress pad in a space bag and pack it with us. Would highly recommend ABBF, I think you made a good choice!

I have not personally used either of them, but a friend of mine used ABBF recently and she is let's just say, very difficult to please. She LOVED the crib she received from ABBF.... she was very pleased by the size, cleanliness, sturdiness, etc.... it is a wooden crib instead of a metal crib, which was also a plus. Good luck in your decision!
