We will have about a day and half free prior to going to WDW while we are at the Triplet Connection Convetion. We were wondering what things off Disney people have done and do you have any recemondations?

There of course are the "other parks". I think personally Universal is a great side trip. We are adding Sea World to our next trip. Or Discovery Cove. We have done Wonder Works, but we weren't impressed. As well as the Wonder Works magic show, just okay. We always go to Old Town for one evening during each trip.

You might try a water park on your full day, and maybe DTD, FW, or just a nice meal and pool time for your half day.

We have triplet girls that are 7 yrs old they will turn 8 June 12. Seaworld is where we are leaning towards going one of those days. Does seaworld take a whole day?

Hi,

To take in all the shows ( the water ski show/stadium and the sky ride tower were shut when i was there in early march) and exhibits will take up a good part of the day but if you skip some of the lesser attractions you could do it between 9 am and 3pm depending on the crowds.

Your experience may vary of course. It is an excellent park to visit and very educational.

Regards

My little boy is 7 also and what we do is go at 9:00 and see all we can until about 1:00. Then we leave, swim and nap, and come back later to catch the fireworks. This may not be an option for you though. It depends on the park hours and when you are going.

Old Town is an area that has shops but carnival rides and games as well. On Friday and Saturday nights they have car shows. I think there is about 60+ shops. It is on 192--- near the Days Inn Suites. It makes for a nice evening walk. Most of the shops are either speciality type stores, or gift shops. They also have a small haunted house, the skycoaster, and lazer tag.

Weeeell, Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede is opening June 19th, if you are still there. It is a "dinner theatre" type venue, but will be a really fun experience for the whole family. (hopefully) I'll be on one of the horses that night!

I think IOA and universal are a must although sea world is amazing and really great & free beer samples triplets u need it;)

Triplet Dad,

I would second a day at Sea World, there is so much children of your children's age would get out of it.
You can even simply pack swimming stuff for them and they will happily play in the Happy Harbour for hours,it will be like going to a water park as well! It is massive climbing structures with water feartures etc. in.

Yeah I know all about the climbing frames I climbed up the nets to find my kids only to get to the top and they appear at bottom laughing and pointing at me as I hunted them:smooth:
