Hi, I hope it is okay I put this thread on this board (wasn't sure which one).

What can you tell me about the Orlando airport? I haven't been there since 1995 when I was 9 (have driven the last two times), and I really don't remember much about it. On our next trip we are flying out of the ATL airport, btw.

Our local airport is really crappy and is also in a sketchy area of town and has made me not like airports in general.

I know the Orlando airport is a million times better, but I was just wondering what the area around it is like, what kind or restaurants it has, etc.

Thanks for any info you can give me! :)

The Orlando airport is great! What airline are you flying on? That will determine which restaruants are near your gate. The airport is spilt into two parts - A&B. Then within each part, there are 2 sections. So all together 4 sections in total. We fly JetBlue and Southwest is in the same area. They just redid the food area and it is really nice, offers a good selection, but of course is pricey because it is the airport!

We are flying on Delta. Thanks for explaining the way it was set up - I didn't know, and probably would end up lost trying to find the ME station.

I haven't been in the Delta section for a few years, but I know they have an Outback there. ME is easy to find. They will be at the bottom of the escalator when you come down to the baggage claim area. You can't miss them!

Hi, again! That sounds great - I do enjoy outback! Hehe. :) I'm glad ME should be easy to find. Thanks again for the tips!
