Sorry, but this may only apply to a very few of you......

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet, but I have been meaning to hop on here and let Oregonians know that there is a Disney outlet at the Lincoln City outlets now. Don't know how long it has been there, but they said it would probably only be there until September.

We found some good deals on park sweatshirts, hats, etc. and they just had all kinds of random things (including tons of 50th anniversary pins, I think). Lots of items had the anniversary stamp on them and there were pieces from both Disneyland and Disneyworld.

Sorry if it has already been mentioned, but I figured you all would be kind if I didn't catch it....

Thanks Littlele for reminding me! I have meaning to get up there but haven't made it there yet. I was going to report on what type of things were at the store when we went, so I am slacking by not getting there. Since you have been, is it worth going to?

Kristi

I was there yesterday. I just stumbled upon it, while on a short trip with DH (we're Oregonians). I wondered if it was an official Disney store or what. It seemed very random and odd to me...more like a Disney merch. yard sale. I didn't find anything I wanted, but did notice that a few of the plush minnies and mickeys didn't even look like the real characters (their faces were different?). They looked like knock offs. The shirts and hats seemed like real Disney stuff, but most said DisneyLand, or 2005 on them. I went in to see if they had children's pjs, for our trip, but no luck! They had some nice pins, but they were still $6. Anyone find anything good? :confused3

wrldpossibility-I know the exact mickey and minnies you are talking about. The funny thing is, we had just bought them in Disneyworld $10 and under store about a month before we saw them there.

I too, thought it was such a random place to see Disney stuff but we at least found a hoodie for my DD, a belt, a Cinderella baseball cap and some other little things. That was about a month ago though, so I don't know if it's still carrying the same stuff.

I just bought a number of children's pj's for our upcoming trip on Disneyshopping.com. They were VERY inexpensive and if you purchase a certain amount, the shipping is free, too. The pj's were $2.99 - $7.99. (Nemo, Princess, Power Rangers, to name a few) There are also t-shirts for the whole family marked down to $3.99. I bought a few matching sets with the intention of all five of us matching on a couple of our days in the parks. (Easy identification in the crowds - I think) Check out the site - Happy shopping!

We went about a month ago and although there were good prices on some things others didn't seem like a great deal. The park merchandise is so overpriced to begin with even at 40% off it's still steep. This same company does liqudations for lots of other stores and theme parks. They have a store in Fullerton near Disneyland. They buy discontinued merchandise from the parks and resell it. We got:
Magnetic Frame .99
"Magic" Towels .59
Tink Hat 3.00
Tink T 7.99
WDW Pooh sweatsuit 19.99
They had some stuff for up to 80% off or as little as 6%
It's worthwhile if you're in the area.
 Hi to all fellow Oregonians!

Hello fellow Oregonians!! OT But I have been trying to find cheap airfare from pdx to mco[WDW], have any of you had any luck?? If so what sites do you use?? What Airline? The airfare is our budget killer. $600.00 per person on southwest just doesn't cut it. What are you finding?? I like living in the NW but being so far away from WDW hurts. I have only manage 2 trips in 20 yrs. I need your help Please???

Sorry I can't tell you exactly, but I do know that the Oregonian publishes an airfare comparison in the Sunday travel section and I remember just last week thinking how bizarre it was that flights to Orlando were cheaper than LA. It was somewhere in the high 200's.

My daughter and I are flying out of PDX this December to MCO. I got our tickets at $303.00 each. I used United ....go to their web site! Hope you find some low fares! :thumbsup2

We went to WDW in March and we paid 280.00 ( including taxes and fees) per person. We purchased them in July of last year. We flew American from PDX to MCO with a stop in DFW. With gas prices the way they are I think that the fare that awesomepinktink got is GREAT! Anyone need me to carry their bags so I can go again soon?

Kristi

Added: I always go to a site like epedia to get an idea of air fare prices, and then I check the airlines websites and some times I have found better prices on the airlines websites. You could try it..... :confused3
